People who possess the power to wield the Magical energy that flows from the Rift in the veil between the human and spirit world are called Wielders. They are able to sense the energy flow between all things and can manipulate it. These abilities have come to be called Magic. Abilities believed to be gifted to the people of Etheria by the Mother herself.
A Reader – someone who can sense the energy of a person's mind and thus Read their thoughts and communicate with them without words. This also includes the controlling of the minds of others, mental shields and waves, and illusions.
A Controller – someone who can sense the energy of the physical things around them and thus Control them, like moving and manipulating objects and people/animals physically. This includes shields and waves of energy and the manipulation of the state of all physical things (turning water into ice, heating up materials until they combust, etc.).
A Healer – someone who can sense the life's energy of all things and thus Heal wounds and sickness. This includes enhancing people energy for a certain amount of time and for the truly powerful, diminishing energy as well. This could mean two things: killing people by stealing their energy or bringing them back to life.
A Seer – someone who can sense the energy of time and thus See into the past, present and future. Special mages amongst them are called Truthseers, who can See all that was, all that is and all that will be and can also see the Truth hidden within. Therefore they cannot be deceived by a Reader and See through the lies people speak.

Hello everyone! This chapter will be used to explain a few things about the story, such as the lands, the important houses etc. I will add to it as the story goes.
I'm currently working on some rewrites so those who have already read a few chapters will find some new names in here :) Don't worry everything will make sense in the end!
