Chapter 17

---

Your P.O.V

I ran into my room and slammed the door, crying into my hands. I couldn't believe it. By the way, what is there to believe?

I heard someone knock on my door. I looked at the piece of wood for what seemed like eternity. Finally, I spoke.

"Come in." Ciel walked in with a tear stained face.

"What are we going to do?" he asked, taking a seat next to me. I shrugged, running my hand against the stitched blanket on my bed.

"Well..." I trailed off when I saw my amulet. "...I do have this amulet."

"Still, it's no use..." I could sense his sorrow.

I couldn't believe my name was in the book. I was going to DIE soon.

~~

"Alright, we're here," Claude said. Alois sighed, glad he was at his destinated spot.

"It's about time!" he scolded, hopping out of the carriage. The large mansion stood in front of him. He smirked and headed towards the door.

~~

"I don't want someone I know to cut my life," I said to Grell who held his head frusteration.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Make Will do it," I said. I looked out the window, spotting Alois walking up the steps and knocking on the door.

"Don't!" I yelled, making everyone freeze. I coughed, smiled nervously, and walked to the door.

"Wha-"

"Shh!"

Quietly, I opened up the door. Alois was starting to get annoying now, making me want to rip his head off.

"What do you want?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

"You," he said, "and Ciel."

"Why?"

"You know that I've killed my own mother. I can't let that rumor spread..." he said before taking out a pocket knife. I stiffened, remembering about my death.

"Grell, what is the date?" I ask, refusing to look anywhere else but Alois.

"Um... the twentieth..."

'Dang,'

"What, (Y/N)?" Alois questioned, pushing me aside and coming in. "Change of plans, Hannah!"

"What are you doing?" I asked, trembling. I was nervous. This might be the end.

Mother!

I will finally see my mom, but I don't want to leave Ciel.

"Don't hurt her, you monster!" Ciel yelled. I looked over at him, but couldn't smile. It felt impossible to smile.

"She is my sister, not yours!" Alois remarked, cleaning off the knife with his coat. I gulped, trying to think what to do.

"I am warning you, Trancy," Sebastian said. My amulet was glowing, warning me again. I held onto it, but Alois saw me. He chucked the knife at me. It was too quick enough for me to see, though. I closed me eyes, waiting for it all.

Nothing happened.

As I opened my eyes, I felt myself evolving into an angel and saw Sebastian in front of me.

'Thanks, Sebastian..."

"(Y/N)," he said. He turned around and pulled out the knife from his chest and threw it back at Alois. He bent down to my level.

"Yes?"

"I know seeing your mother will make you happy. So will staying with Ciel..." he trailed off. I was shaking, wishing that I didn't ever come here.

"It's a hard decision," I said.

"That is why I am...." I looked at him. Sebastian had a flustered expression on his face. "...going to break the contract."

"No, don't do it!" I yelled.

"Sorry," he said, standing up.

"Sebastian, what is going on?" Ciel asked. Alois had been stabbed from Sebastian's throw and couldn't get up. His screams were making me want to blow up. He was just so... annoying.

"Master, I have no other choice..."

"Sebastian, I am your Master! I order you to not do such absurd actions!" I yelled, stiffening my wings.

It was too late to convince him to stop.

He had already cut off his left hand.

"Sebastian, what the bloody hell was that for?" Ciel scolded. My contract was gone. My tongue felt plain as ever.

"(Y/N)!" I saw Ciel jump in front of me. I wanted to ask him why, but I saw blood splatter all over the floor. He fell face first, revealing Alois.

"What the heck, man!" I choked out, kneeling beside Ciel.

"Heh..." Alois sat up and coughed, taking out another pocket knife. "Don't m-make me waste this..."

I was trying to form a shield, but I noticed I wasn't in angel form. My amulet wasn't on me... it was shattered on the ground.

"You donkey!" I yelled, holding back tears. Sebastian sat at a table. Ciel was dead. It was hard holding back tears.

"Now no one will be happy!" he said before throwing the knife at me. I didn't react enough, so it stabbed me right in the chest. I blinked twice before falling to the ground. Sebastian smiled.

I gagged and coughed, blood spilling onto the floor. Alois stood over me, watching me suffer. He laughed deviously. I smiled at him. He frowned. I laughed.

"What's so funny?" he demanded, kneeling closer to me. I laughed harder as I was slowly dying.

When I stopped laughing, I looked at the ceiling. I was finally going to be happy. I was going to be with Ciel and Mother.

It all slowly faded to black. Not everything was black, though. I saw a bright light.

'The light to delight...'
