"We have two more shards to find," I said. "We have to be more determined!" Ciel shifted a bit.

"When I first met you," he began, "I thought it was my imagination." My face warmed up from the sudden compliment.

"Sorry, I was in too much pain to pay full focuse on you," I confessed, nervously laughing.

"It's fine," he said. We continued down a long gravel path. We didn't know where we were.

"Because of my idea of heading to my friends house, I died," I muttered. I looked ahead of me, noticing another Demon Shard.

"Why is there a shard there?" Ciel asked. I shrugged, then noticing a skeleton behind a trash can. I shuddered and continued, trying to erase the image.

"We're not going to find any over here," I complained.

"It doesn't hurt to look," he offered. I pouted a little, following him anyway.

"I wish I never existed," I quietly said. Ciel stood dead in his tracks. I knew I had to keep my big mouth shut.

"Don't say that," he said without looking at me. I shuddered.

"It's true, though!" I said a little louder. "If it weren't for me, you'd still be alive!"

"(Y/N)-"

"I-It's all my fault!" I stammered, interrupting Ciel. He turned around with a stern look on his face.

I wish... I wish...

"I wish I wasn't here! I wish I was somewhere else!" I cried. A tear streamed down my cheek.

"Y-You're crying!" Ciel said, worry in his voice.

"Surprising, right?" I asked, dropping down to my knees. I felt the energy and power drain out of me. I felt as if I were to pass out any moment.

"(Y/N)," he said, dropping down to my level. "I wish you were here. I wish you existed."

I looked up a bit, pushing my (H/C) hair out of my face. I felt a smile tug on my lips, but I refused to let that slip. I didn't want to be happy.

"So?" I finally managed to say.

Everything went silent for a while. Then it hit me.

Tall trees towered over me... I couldn't breath at all. I was slipping on the wet forest floor.

I tripped over a rock and landed on my face. I held back the tears, but they spilled out. My nose was bleeding and my chin was sore.

I felt like I was choking, I....

"Ciel, we can't go on like this," I said, shaking my head. "I'm tired and my mind can't stop spinning!"

"Maybe we can summon a bed," Ciel suggested. I shrugged glumly and didn't pay attention when he summoned the bed.

I looked over to the transparent bed and blushed a little. Sleeping in the same bed as Ciel still made me nervous.

"We can continue this tomorrow," he said. I plopped onto the bed and pulled the covers ontop of me. Ciel then got in and was quite close to me. This whole thing was weirding me out.

Then I closed my eyes....

I woke up in a strange room. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, finding myself in white seemed like Ciel's room. I could've sworn I was somewhere else.

"You're awake!" I perked around to see Ciel looking at me. I was so confused. What the heck is going on?

"Ciel, I'm so freakin' confused," I said, my voice cracking.

"Well, it's a pretty long story," he said. "Would you like to hear it?"

"Yes, please!" I said. He sat down next to me and sighed.

"While you were sleeping, I sent out to find the rest of the Spirit Shard's. Skylar said we could come back alive, so I agreed. You have been in a coma for three months since!" he said.

"That wasn't long," I said, smiling.

"I didn't know if you'd remember or not!" he exclaimed. I did feel kind of weak. Three months was pretty long, I guess.

"Well, that's nice to know," I said. I hugged Ciel tightly, and he returned the favor.

"Now what?" he asked.

"Now we can continue with our lives," I said, standing up. I walked out of the room and Ciel followed.

"I suppose that's a good idea," he said. I quickened my pace, heading for the door that leads to the garden. When I reached it, I kicked it open and breathed in the fresh air.

"I forgot how wonderful this was!" I exclaimed, running towards the roses. In the garden on red roses, a white rose stood out from the rest of them. My eyes twinkled as I looked at it.

"Wow," Ciel said. I wanted to take it, but it was so beautiful. I carefully walked through the roses, getting stabbed by thorns, to get to that white rose.

"(Y/N), be careful!" Ciel said. I made it to the rose and stared at it. It didn't have any thorns! Was that normal.

I guess nothing is normal.

I'm not normal.

Ciel's not normal.

Sebastian's not normal.

"Ciel, can I ask you something?"

"Sure," he replied. I walked over to him carefully, still getting stabbed.

"I know we're young and all of that, and I'm not even royalty, so, when we're eligable, can we get... um... married?" I felt my face warm up as he was thinking.

"Yes."
