The sound of rain drops hitting his bedroom window woke Changbin up. He sat up in his bed and rubbed his eyes in attempts to clear them of the tiredness. It was still dark out, but due to the storm, he wasn't sure if it was dark because it was early or because of the clouds. He looked around the dark room in a daze, still not fully awake. After a moment of pointless staring, he reached over to the nightstand next to his bed and fumbled around for his phone. Once his hand felt the familiar rectangle, he picked it up.
The screen flashed on and Changbin squinted against the light while his eyes adjusted to the sudden change in brightness. Once his eyes adjusted, he finally noticed what time it was.
6:15am
"Aish..." He mumbled to himself as he rubbed his face. It was still too early for him to actually want to be up, but he was up. He let out a frustrated sigh and threw his covers off to the side. Once he stood up, he stretched his arms and back before heading downstairs to make coffee.
Changbin turned the coffee maker on, grabbed a mug from the cupboard and set it on the counter, then went into the fridge.
"Of course we don't have any milk, why would we?" Changbin slammed the fridge door shut, frustrated by the lack of milk. "I really need to go grocery shopping..."
It took a few minutes for the coffee to brew, but the second it was finished, Changbin poured some coffee into the mug he had gotten out and went to sit down at the table. Just as he sat down, a flash of light followed by a rather loud clap of thunder made it's way through the quiet and dark house, causing Changbin to jump slightly. Once he calmed down, he sat down and took a sip of the bitter drink, scrunching his nose slightly at the after taste.
Just as he was finally settling down at the table, the sound of someone knocking on his front door brought him out of his semi relaxed state.
"Seriously? Who the fuck is up at this time and knocking on someone's door?" Changbin muttered to himself, annoyed, as he made his way to the door. The person started knocking again, causing Changbin to become slightly more irritated. "Yeah yeah, hold on I'm coming!" He shouted as he jogged to the door. He unlocked the door and opened it to be met with a soaking wet Jisung and Minho.
"Hey, can we come in?" Jisung asked through chattering teether. Changbin let out a short laugh and moved to the side, allowing them to walk in.
Changbin walked over to the pair sitting on the couch, now dressed in his clothes, with cups of coffee in his hand. "Here, it's still hot so it should help warm you guys up a bit," He said as he handed them the mugs. "You guys on your morning run?"
Jisung laughed and took a small sip of the coffee, relishing the warmth it gave him. Minho just smiled and nodded his head. "Ha, yeah, guess we should have checked the weather huh?"
"Yah! I told you that it said it might rain but you didn't listen to me! And besides, if you had listened to me, we would have been dressed appropriately for the weather so we could have actually gone on our run!" Jisung shouted at Minho, and if Changbin hadn't been so tired, he would have found it amusing.
"Well, you guys can stay here until it clears up, but I gotta go back to sleep. Just, try not to break anything while you're here please, I just cleaned yesterday." Changbin lazily stood up and placed his mug in the sink before turning to head for the stairs.
"Alright, we make no promises though!" Jisung shouted after him but Changbin didn't really hear it. He just wanted to go back to sleep.
When Changbin woke up, it was half past noon. This time around, the room was filled with faint light from outside, just enough for Changbin to be able to make out where everything was. It was still raining, but not nearly as hard as it was earlier in the morning, so Changing was silently hoping that the two idiots had gone home.
As he made his way downstairs, he noticed how quiet it was. He took that as a good thing and hurried down the rest of the steps.
The second he turned the corner and walked into the living room, he froze. Sitting in front of him was not only the two idiots from earlier, but everyone else in their friend group, excluding Jeongin. Chan, Minho, Jisung, Seungmin, Woojin and Hyunjin we all sitting in his living room. They were all preoccupied with their phones to notice Changbin, so he decided to get their attention.
"What the actual fuck are you jackasses doing in my house?" He asked as he walked to the kitchen to get some water. "You guys do realize that I could call the police and have you all arrested for trespassing, right?"
"Yeah, but you won't. Besides, Jeongin isn't here yet and it'd be bad to leave him all alone and confused... His just a baby ya know," Jisung chimmed from the couch without looking up from his phone.
"You know he's literally only a year younger than most of us, save for Chan, Woojin and Minho, but even then it's only a two year difference." Hyunjin corrected Jisung, who glared and stuck his tongue out at him. "If anyone is a baby in this group, it'd honestly be you."
"I second that," Changbin smirked from his spot in the kitchen.
"I think we all do," Chan teased and playfully hit Jisung with a pillow.
Changbin laughed and made his way to the living room, taking a seat in between Woojin and Minho on the couch. "So why exactly are all of you in my house?"
"Oh," Minho started to explain, "Jisung was complaining that you didn't have any milk and that you needed to go grocery shopping, and I mentioned how I needed to too, so Jisung suggested that we go together and then it sort of just ended up being brought up in the group chat and now it's turned into a group excursion."
Changbin stared at Minho before slapping his face with his hand. "You've got to be joking... Why the hell do we all need to go grocery shopping together? What's the point? Literally nothing is gonna get done."
"I mean, Chan and Hyunjin kinda forced me to come, if that makes you feel any better," Woojin attempted to lighten the mood, but it didn't work very well.
"I mean... Not really."
There was a sudden knock at the door and then the sound of the door opening. Everyone turned their heads to see Jeongin walk in, with someone walking in behind him.
"Hey, Jeongin! Took ya long enough," Jisung teased as he got up from his spot to greet the younger. Once he noticed the extra person, he stopped. "Who did you bring with you?"
Jeongin smiled as he and his friend made their way to the group in the living room. Immediately, Changbin recognized him.
"Guys, I hope you don't mind but I brought Felix along. His parents are still out of town and his siblings are out with friends, so I figured it'd be a good him around Seoul!" Jeongin smiled as he explained the unexpected guest. The others remained silent, not entirely sure how to react. Changbin watched over Felix's expression and notice how uncomfortable he seemed so he spoke up.
"Of course it's fine. We can be your unofficial tour guides! We can even stop for lunch somewhere if you want," Changbin smiled softly at Felix, who's expression seemed to relax and he gave Changbin a slight smile in return.
"Thanks." Felix's voice was quiet and a bit strained, almost as if he was scared. Changbin didn't know why, but it worried him to hear his voice like that. Both times he had talked to Felix, his voice seemed normal and relaxed, he didn't like how upset he sounded.
"Well, let's get going before it starts to rain again," Changbin said as he got up from his seat and headed towards the door.

Guys omg okay okay okay... So like........ Low-key this fic is making me super excited bc it's going so well!! But I low-key feel like I'm either rushing things or not doing enough... Idk I'm really weird about my writing so... But yeah, ik this update is a bit late but I was updating my GC fic so I got to this a bit later than usual. Sorry mah dudes😅 but yeah, I'm highkey excited dudes... Like, you have no idea. OH tomorrow, look forward to having two real chapters. That's my plan, so hopefully that's what happens.
