Celestine's POV

Mukhang ang seryoso ng pinaguusapan ng dalawa ah?

 From a distance I can say na mas malakas ang appeal ni Jacob, though gwapo si Ethan.

I heaved a sigh and walked towards them, "Ano na?"

"Nothing." sabay nilang sagot.

"Ah okay," dumating ang order namin at nagsimula na kaming kumain.

"So, Tine.. How long have you known Jacob?"

Napatingin ako kay Jacob, "Uhm, since the day we broke up."

"We didn't officially break up, Tine."

"But I have a boyfriend now, Ethan." napangiti ako, "And he's here with us, so please?"

Tinitigan ni Ethan na parang nangigigil si Jacob, "Congratulations pare,"

Ngumiti lang ito at nagpatuloy kumain.

Jacob Drew's POV

"You have something.. Near your.. Lips.." malambing na sinabi ni Ethan kay Celestine at kumuha ng tissue pagkatapos ay pinunasan ito.

Kailangan talagang sobrang magkalapit ang mukha? Tss.

Nag ring ang cellphone ko.

A call from the office.

"Excuse me." inis kong sinabi at tinignan si Ethan. Ngumiti ito.

Lumabas ako sandali.

*Goodmorning,*

*Sir, may naghahanap po sa inyo dito sa office,*

*Sino?*

*Hindi sinabi ang pangalan. Babae po sir,*

*Okay, I'm coming.*

Pagbalik ko sa loob eh nakita kong malambing na kinakausap ni Ethan si Celestine.

She was smiling from ear to ear.

Parang ang dami nilang gustong pagkwentuhan.

Pero tanda naman siguro ni Celestine ang "Rule #1" diba?

She's mine. For a month.

I walked towards them, with a straight face, "I need to go," sabi ko sa kanila and Ethan's eyes twinkled.

"Aalis narin ako," nakangiting sinabi ni Celestine.

"No stay here.." sagot ko at tinignan ako nito ng masama.

"Yes Tine," si Ethan, "Stay.. I'll drop you off sa school.."

And with that, lumabas na ako.

Bakit ba ako naiinis?
I waited for a minute.
A minute for her to come out dahil nga ayaw nyang maiwan.
But I guessed wrong.
Hindi sya lumabas.

So, I sped off.

Celestine's POV

Naglalakad kami papunta ng school when Ethan held my hand.

I tried to break free but he held on tight.

"You know what?" malambing nyang tanong.

"What?"

"I think now is the time.. Na malaman mo lahat.. My explanations.."

"Di na.."

"You deserve to know.."

"Ma-le-late ako sa klase Ethan."

"Just give me 8minutes, Please?"

Tumingin ako sa relo ko, "8Minutes, starting now."

"Naduwag ako,"

"San?"

"Just.. Just let me talk."

"Okay."

"Naduwag ako na ipaglaban ka. Especially sa mga kaibigan ko. They thought.. That you're just one of those fishes I catched from the sea.."

"Mhmm.." Do I look that cheap to them?

"But I realize, I was too stupid to.. You know.. Side them.." napatingin ito sa kamay ko, "I realized na these past few days na wala ka.. Actually 6days.. I realized na.. Mahalaga ka sakin.. That's why.. Binabalik-balikan kita.."

"Okay.."

"And.. From what I'm feeling now.. I think.. I think.. I.."

Nagring ang cellphone ko.

[Jacob Calling]

"Teka."

I clicked on it to answer.

"Hello?"

"You in school now? Safe?"

"Oo naman.."

"Good.. I'll pick you up later." at ibinaba nya na ang phone.

I'm getting used to that.

Ibinalik ko ang tingin ko kay Ethan.

"You think what?"

Napakamot sya sa ulo nya, "N-nothing.."

"Ah okay, alis na ako.."

And while walking away, naramdaman ko ang biglang pagyakap nya..

"I know this may sound absurd from a playboy like me who beds different types of girls.. Pero.. Sa'yo ko lang naramdaman toh.. It took me a year to not notice.. And 6days to realize.. I--Love--You.."

Napatahimik ako, "Please leave him.."
