Jacob Drew's POV

Walang araw na hindi nagkwe-kwento si Celestine tungkol kay Ethan and how he has changed.
And all I would do is smile and nod.

Today is saturday at ito ang araw na pupunta kami sa resort.

I called Celestine last night.
Pupunta parin daw sya.
I gave her a choice.
Ayoko namang pilitin sya.

I drove to her house and saw her by the gate. Agad ko naman kinuha ang bag nya at binuhat ito papunta sa kotse.

Mom and dad was there too.

"Did you ask Ethan about this?" mahina kong tanong habang palakad kami papunta sa kotse.

"Yes,"

"And did he allow you to?"

"At first ayaw nya, pero I told him na we would be sleeping in different rooms."

I smiled, "We're staying in one room, Celestine."

Nagulat ito, "Ano?!"

"But with two beds.. Keep in mind. You're not my type."

Celestine's POV

Ah isang kwarto lang.
See.. I'm not his type.
So okay lang na makipagligawan ako kay Ethan.

I smiled at that thought.

I greeted Tito and Tita.

"Good morning hija,"

"Goodmorning rin ho.." magalang ko na sagot at ngumiti.

"Dun kayo sa likod ni Jacob, because there's a driver. We just made Jacob drive kasi di alam ni manong ang daan."

Tumago ako at naupo sa likod.
Maya maya eh sumakay narin si Jacob at umupo sa tabi ko.

Tahimik sya sa byahe.
Nakapikit lang habang nakikinig sa Ipod nya.
Habang kami nila tito at tita eh nagkwe-kwentuhan.

"Hija.." nakangiting tawag ni tita.

"Po?"

"Why didn't you come the other time nung sinundo ka ni Jacob? Nagluto pa naman yan buong araw."

"Ha?"

Nagluto?
Si Jacob?

"Mom. Don't talk about it." sinabi ni Jacob habang nakapikit.

"Why not?" mataray na tanong ni Tita at tumawa.

"Because she doesn't have to know."

Napatahimik ako.
That day tita is talking about..
Is the day..
Nung hinatid ako ni Ethan..
Yung araw na mukhang masaya sya sa telepono.

Tss.
Pero bakit?

Nakarating kami sa resort at agad naman kaming tumuloy sa kwarto.
Magkatabi ang kwarto namin nila tita.

"So which side are you taking?" pormal na tanong ni Jacob.

"Left." at humiga ako.

"Okay."

"Jacob?" mahina ko syang tinawag, "About.. Yung.. Kanina.. Uhm.."

"Don't mind it."

"Bakit ba ang sungit mo?"

"Hindi ako masungit."

"Alam mo, kung alam ko lang.. Dapat di na ko sumama."

"Mom wants you to come. And so does dad."

"Yeah. Pero ayaw mo naman."

"You're right." mahina nitong sinabi.

Nasaktan ako.
I bit my lips.

 
"Sungit mo. May regla ka ba?"

"Tapos na," at natawa naman ako.

I looked at him.
Inaayos nya ang mga gamit nya.

I closed my eyes, "Is this resort yours?"

"No. Sa mga magulang ko pa toh."

"Ah."

"I'll take you around mamaya."

"Okay, pero in one condition," idinilat ko ang mga mata ko at ngumisi sa kanya.
 

"Ano?"

"Ayoko ng suplado na tour-guide." taas kilay kong sinabi and folded my arms.

He walked towards me.

"And what do I get in return?"

I again noticed his lips.
Bakit ba ang perfect ng curves nito?
I stared at it.
Then his eyes.

Mabait naman sya.
Pero mas lamang ang pagka-suplado..

"W-wala."

"I want something in return."

"Ano?"

"Don't communicate with Ethan. For this time being.."
