Chapter 6

Zarah's POV

Today I woke up with a migraine, I took a panadol extra inside my bedside drawer and gulped it down with some water.I went to the bathroom brushed my teeth and perform wudhu I came out and wore my hijab prayed and went to take shower I finished and wore my uniform and took my school bag, it was already 7am so I went to mama's room and greeted her then went to aunty's room too we talked and she told me that yaya rahma will be back on Friday I was very happy because I have not seen her in the past 6 months. She is schooling in cyprus(turkey) with that I bid her and went to the car today zakiyya is not going to school because she has finished her exams we are starting our exams tomorrow so today am not going to enter many classes. I went to school and thank god today am not entering alone I saw Khadija(a classmate) we entered class together after like 5 minutes the bell rang indicating its time for assembly. My friends are not around yet I went to the assembly ground the after prayers, national anthem and pledge, school anthem the principal made an announcement telling us that its not good to do  examination malpractice he finished his long and boring speech we went to class on my way I saw my crazy friends we hugged each other and went to class. The first class  started it was agricultural science  we did some revision and the bell rang the class finished and me, firdausi and asma'u went out we went to the bookshop and on our way we met imran.Imran asked me out last week and I didn't accept him at least not now till I finish my exams though I don't like him very much cause am crushing you know who. He just smiled to me and I smiled back and we went to bookshop and bought a pen then went back to class. When we went to class mathematics teacher is already around he asked us to kneel down we kept pleading with him after so many pleads he said we should go in Yusrah, Ummul and Hauwa were already laughing their ass out cause they asked us not to go out but we did. He continued his teaching and it was already time for break. We went to a maman mimi's canteen(food canteen) we bought our food and ate we finished eating and went back to class that was when fun began we played wasan kurma kurma(imitating the deaf people by beating the next person next to you on their knee and someone will do something funny but if you laugh we will be beating by everybody playing the game) it was fun,  firdausi did one stupid thing that Yusrah laughed and we beat Yusrah till she turned red(she is fair dama) after 4 more classes it was time for closing we went out of the school premises I sighted malam ya'u and I bade them and went to the car I greeted "ah hajiya zarah's Ina wiki? (Zarah good afternoon)" lafiya lau malam ya'u (am fine) he start the car and we went left GRA we went home. Immediately the car stopped I went out and went straight and entered the house I went to my changed my uniform and wore a black and white pencil skirt and a white tee-shirt I went to the bathroom and performed wudhu I came out and prayed zuhr then went to mama's room and greeted her, "how was school"she asked fine alhamdulliah I replied yawning, "have you eaten?" No, "go and eat then come and call nura he arrived there around 12"okay I said and left to the dining table I picked a plate and spoon and served myself with coconut rice and stew with a very chilled chapman I finished eating and went back to mama's room, she called yaya nura and we talked and he hung the call saying he will go and eat and he promised to call later. I went to my room and went to bathroom and performed wudhu and came out and prayed asr then started reading,  my phone started ringing and I checked and saw an unknown number I didn't picked first but the number kept calling and I decided to pick, I picked  saying

"assalamu alaikum (peace be upon you)"

"wa'alaikumussalam(peace be upon you too)"

"Please am speaking to Zarah?"

"yes please who is this?"

"Its Imran how are you?"

"Ohhhhh am fine and you?"

"Same here I just call to say hi"

"okay thank you"

"my pleasure, are you on WhatsApp?"

"Yea"

"okay bye"

"bye with that I hung the called and continued reading I finished and picked my phone and on my data I saw the messages are mostly from WhatsApp I entered and replied then I saw one missed video call and I checked and saw it was yaya Suleiman. I called him back and thank god he was online he picked and we talked before he said I should go and pray. I cut the call and went to perform wudhu I came out brought out the pray mat and wore my hijab prayed maghrib and went downstairs to aunty's section we talked and I prayed isha in her section then went back to our side and ate dinner then went to my room took a shower changed into my pjs. I took my phone entered wattpad I was reading safaa by kaltumm the book is very interesting.
