Suleiman was patiently sitting on the couch waiting for zarah to tell her what has been on his mind since when she was little, at first he thought it was just a crush or rather an infatuation but as time passes he realized it was more than crush it was love. The love he has never felt for any woman apart from his mother and sisters he thought she was young that was why he didn't tell her but now she has come of age she is 18 but he didn't know how to start telling her if he tells her will she act funny or she will take it serious because he don't want this wedding to happen he must stop this wedding by
hook or by crook InshaAllah he thought.
"favorite cousin brother was sup" zarah said as she emerge from the kitchen with a tray containing a drink, water and a glass cup. "favorite cousin how are you?" he said his face held different emotions. "am fine cousin brother, what's wrong with you?" she asked placing the tray in front of him. " zarah am not fine wallah I just want to ask you something now which I have been hiding from u for a very long time, in fact from the first day i saw you, sometimes when I want to tell u i feel discouraged and nervous cos i don't know if you're gonna respond negatively, or if u will look at me somehow, but I just want to let u know that what i am about to tell you has been a burden to me for a very long time and i just can't keep it in my mind any longer, it has been so heavy in my mind, so please don't feel upset when i say this to you, am begging you just know that it's from the bottom of my heart and it's real" he paused for a minute and then continued "zarah please wallah I love you with the whole of my heart" he says the three magical words that had been in his mind for a very long time.
Zarah couldn't believe what she was hearing the person she has being crushing on has finally confessed his feelings for her she don't know whether to feel happy because she was feeling the same or she should be sad because she promised herself she will not marry because men are not to be trusted and she can't a life with someone she can't trust. Her eyes were filled with tears she don't know what to tell her lifetime crush that has finally confessed to her so there and then she decided what to tell him and she hope the words she will she say now will not destroy her.
She finally got the courage to speak, she open her mouth and closed her eyes so she won't even look at him not to talk of changing her mind "yaya Suleiman I always had a crush since when I don't know what that means but when I came to realize I knew since I was crushing on you but then I was told that when you are crushing on someone and it passes 1 year and that feeling is still there then is not crush is love when I was in jss3 I dated a guy though I don't love but you know you can't be together with someone and not have maybe a little feeling for him so he broke my heart telling me that he wasn't in love with me in the first place he was just dared to date me and I fell into his trap, yaya Suleiman am sorry to say this but I don't love you anymore" she lied with tears running down her she stood up and left broken Suleiman there, and now he has lost hope he will just have to take destiny the it comes and he promised himself that even he marry salamatu he will still marry his first and last crush with that he picked his phone and left to Ibrahim's house, he thinking of how his life have turned out to be when a trunk from behind his car lost control pushed his car and it rolled to the other side of the road. People came to his rescue they brought him out of the car and searched his pocket to find his phone fortunately for them they saw it and it wasn't locked one of them checked for his contacts and called his mother.
"Hello good afternoon ma"
"hello my dear what happened to your voice" answered his mother
"madam your son is in a critical condition we are taking him to ahmadu Bello teaching hospital now ma"
"what happened to him tell me please is he alive?" she was already in tears..
"MA we don't know the rest of the explanation till you come" with that he hung the call and put him inside his car and zoomed off to the hospital immediately they entered the hospital they took him to the A and E section( accident and emergency) he was still unconscious when his family members came his mother's face was red due to the crying his father was consoling her his sister and brother too were crying they met the person that called them they thanked him collected his number and he left the doctor said they have to pay before they touch him. Nigerian Doctors for you
"sir who told you we are not paying how much is the money you think we are poor or what wallah if he my son dies you will face the consequences" his mother spat angrily
"ma we're sorry but it's the hospital order" he said and back to the room Suleiman is, while his father went to pay the bill he came back with a receipt in his hand and went in where his son is, the showed the doctors the receipt and came out. Leaving the doctors and his son in the room.
"the family of Suleiman Mustapha please should come over" the moved to where the doctor is with heavy heart they have already gave up on him they know what the doctor will say
"we are sorry, we tried our best but you know Allah is the best of planners, we but we lost..........."

"Zarah open this door will you?" Zara's mother Shouted ,since what happened between her and Suleiman she came back to her room and locked herself and cried her heart out, she prayed for what's the best for her.
"mama am coming" she answered with a hoarse voice due to the crying, she went to the bathroom and washed her face then came out and opened the door, as she open the door she saw her wiping tears " mama why are you crying?" she asked "your cousin had a terrible accident and is in the hospital now" her mother said hugging her "which of my cousin mama?" she asked her mother again praying it is not Suleiman
"your cousin Suleiman" her mother said and the next thing her mother saw was her daughter's body on the floor. She quickly called the house helps to come and help her carry her to the car.
"mama stop crying they will be okay InshaAllah just keep praying for both of them" Abdul consoled his mother ,while waiting for the doctors that are checking on Zarah to come out.
"I hope they will not die Abdul" she said crying
"Mama InshaAllah they will be alright " Abdul tried to console himself and his mother
"I hope so Abdul" she said crying again
"Mama stop crying you have to be strong for them" Abdul said wiping a tear from his cheek he will not break down here not in front of his mother who needs him the most now. He was consoling his mother when a nurse came out from the room Zarah is they immediately went where she is "you're Fatima Muhammad 's family?" she asked "yeah how is she? Is she okay now? Can we see her?" Abdul bombarded the nurse with this questions, "the doctor wants to see you in his Office" she said and left them not answering any of their questions.

So back to story I hope my captain is not dead and I hope Zara is okay now though that stupid and rude nurse refused to tell us. We will see that in the next chappie.
