Chapter 4

Zarah's POV

I woke up at exactly 5:30am, I prayed subh and took a shower, I wore my uniform and slept for like 30mins then decided to go downstairs,I saw mama in the kitchen,we talked about hafiza's house and before I know it it was already 7:30 I carry my schoolbag and went to the car. Yes I don't eat breakfast when am going to school. I greeted Malam Ya'u and we headed to school because they all waiting for me. We reached school and immediately I got out of the car I saw firdausi, I called her and she stopped to wait for me cause I hate entering the school alone wallah. We entered the school and went straight to our class,upon entering the class we saw Ummul, asma'u, and Hauwa I hugged them, Yusrah is not around yet that girl is a late cormer fa, We went to the bookshop to buy pen, we are on our way to class when we saw Yusrah walking towards us she hugged us and we went to class. I first period have already started so we entered the class and took our seats, the class finished, before we know it its already time for break,I told them about ya hafiza's wedding, I even told them ya Suleiman collected my number cause they know about my crush on him. We talked about many things before the bell was rang for break over, the next teacher came and it was already closing time. me, firdausi and Hauwa escorted Ummul, Yusrah and asma'u to where they use to stay before they come and pick them. When we were coming back I saw Malam Ya'u and zakiyya, I bade Hauwa and firdausi good bye and we went home. Yes Abdul and Khadija are in boarding school is only me and zakiyya that are here. Aisha has finished her secondary school this year she is now in baze studying architecture. The moment I got home I entered the kitchen and fetched some jollof rice and went to the dining table to eat I finished eating and went to my room. I prayed zuhr and went to greet mama and aunty I greeted them and went to greet ya nura I saw him with ya Suleiman I greeted them both and left to my room it was already time for asr so I prayed my asr and took my phone to check on WhatsApp. I replied the messages, I was replying when I my phone started ringing it was yaya Suleiman he told me come down and let say our goodbye. I quickly grabbed my veil and went downstairs I saw him with mama and aunty talking, mama said she is going to her room while aunty said she going to the kitchen. I thank God for that, we talked before he said its getting late so we said our goodbyes and he went I went to my room and did the assignment that were given, I finished and prayed maghrib and went downstairs to eat dinner, I finished and started watching lost in the Pacific. I was done and went to my room and on my data I chat with my frnds and off my data and retired to bed.

I woke up today at exactly 6:30am, I prayed subh and took a shower, I came out from the bathroom and wore my uniform. I went to greet mama and auny and headed to the car. Aisha has gone back to school while ya nura is going back tomorrow. We reached school and unfortunately for me there was no one I will enter with, when I entered I went to submit my assignments then went to class, I saw Ummul we talked for awhile before the rest of the class members came started coming. The classes began and after like 4 hours of different boring classes it was time for break we went to the cafeteria and ate then went back to class. The bell was rang for break over, the next classes started again. After the lessons have finished it was time for closing Immediately I went out of the gate I sighted Malam Ya'u I bade the girls and told them to gist me what happened after I left. I came back home very tired as always, I went to my room change into an a shape gown, prayed zuhr then went to greet mama and aunty. I went to the dining and ate a very delicious spaghetti. I finished eating and went to pray asr. After praying I picked my phone and saw Hauwa's missed call, I picked at the second ring.

Me: hey girl

Hauwa: banza kinyi missing wallah

Me: what happened?

Hauwa:asma'u slapped that useless boy

Me: Al-ameen?

Hauwa: yes now, the boy is stupid wallah how can he say he love her then went and told Ummul the same thing and now he is saying that is her that he love not Ummul

Me: kuttt wallah the boy need to be taken to asylum.

Hauwa: ehen now

Me: keh byee I want to watch YOLO

Hauwa: ok byeeee

We finished talking with Hauwa and I called asma'u she told me the same thing Hauwa told,we said our goodbyes though we are even going to meet on WhatsApp. I was watching YOLO when ya Suleiman called me. Hey favorite cousin,yaya Suleiman said hlo I replied, how are you? Am fyn and you, am good alhamdulliah I am boarding now byeee, ok safe flight, thanks with that he cut the call. I continued watching till when I heard the adhan calling maghrib, I went to the bathroom and perform Wudu and then came out and wore hijab then prayed after praying I went downstairs to eat dinner I finished eating and went to ya nura's room I saw him packing, I helped and we talked before I said good night and went to pray isha. I finished praying change into my pjs then fell into a deep slumber.
