Chapter 17: He says

It was like déjà vu. Eden was disappearing more and more and there was a blood stain on her pyjama leg. That had happened before;

Flashback
Eden was starting to blank me and the girls. I noticed that one of her pyjama legs had blood on it, once. I knew something was going on, and, although I wish I didn't, I had some idea what was going on. I just hoped I was wrong.
End of Flashback

It was like she was a ghost. She was pale and almost non existent. She never talked. She acted as if she was invisible.

She wouldn't tell anyone what was wrong, not even Oscar, who was in absolute despair. He didn't seem to know what to do with himself. He kept trying to talk to her, but it was in vain. She wouldn't even look him in the eye.

Draco and I were acting like more than mates, but truthfully I didn't really know what our relationship status was. I couldn't just ask him, because that would be weird. So, I got an unwilling volunteer to do it for me.

Eliza.

"It will literally take 5 seconds!"

"NO!"

"Pleaseeee?"

"NO."

"Pleaseee?"

"If I say yes will it shut you up?"

"Possibly."

"Okay, fine then."

"Yay!"

Eliza approached Draco at dinner that night. "Scarlett wants to know what you guys are."

"We're human."

"No no no! I mean are you guys more than friends, in a relationship or just mates?"

"Ohh. Well, I think of her as more than a friend, only don't tell her, because I don't know if she feels the same way, okay?"

"Okay."

As soon as Eliza came back over to me, she whispered his answer in my ear.

"He says he likes you more than friends, but not to tell you."

I stopped myself from having a little happy dance then and there. That would've been embarrassing. And suspicious.

I composed myself and walked out with Eliza, our arms linked. As soon as I got to our dorm, I started squealing loudly.

"YAY!!!!!!" I jumped around like an absolute lunatic. "I MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE A CHANCE WITH HIM NOW!!"

Eliza rolled her eyes. "You may have not seen it, but he was already smitten with you."

I raised an eyebrow. "No he wasn't."

"Yeah he was."

"No he wasn't."

"Yeah!"

"No!"

"Oh whatever, I know it, even if you don't." Eliza picked up her towel and headed into the bathroom to get ready for her date with Blaise that night, rolling her eyes.

I flopped down on my bed and laid there for a while. Then, I decided I'd surprise Eliza and jump out from behind the door in wolf form.

As soon as she finished her shower, I changed into my animagus form and hid behind the door to the bathroom. Eliza came out a few minutes later, which is when I jumped.

"AHHHH!!" She screamed.

"That's what you get Liza." I smirked, turning back into myself.

"You are such a dick sometimes!"

I just smirked again. "What can I say? It's part of who I am."
