Late night, driving, thinking

Where are we going?

Don't doubt, don't ask, go fast

Heading straight for the past

My house, my room, too soon

What are we doing?

Why does this feel so good?

Camila's P.O.V.

I can't stop these tears from falling, and I haven't the slightest idea where Shawn is taking me, but I know that wherever that is, it'll stop what I'm feeling, or at least compromise it. I trust him, and I know that he's there to help me, just as much as I want to be there to help him.

Something strange inside of me tells me that I shouldn't let go of him. That he's exactly what I need, that he can help me. And as crazy as that might seem, I believe it. Even though I stopped trusting guys since the previous nightmare I had. I just know for some reason that Shawn is not going to hurt me, at least, not like before. He's different from all of my previous encounters. He's entirely different.

I slowly open my eyes and stare at the windshield, the sun is starting to slowly go down and shops are starting to disappear as we get to the outskirts of town. I slowly turn my head to look at Shawn who has his eyes focused on the road.

"Wh-where... where a-are we going?" I've been silently crying for so long that when I speak, my voice comes out cracked and barely audible.

"Somewhere you can rest your soul." He doesn't take his eyes off the road.

I furrow my eyebrows, not having the slightest idea what he's talking about. "And... and where is that?" My voice comes out just little bit louder than before.

The corners of his lips tug in a smile as he keeps his eyes on the road. "You'll see in a couple of minutes."

I choose not to question him any further and look back at the road ahead of me, not that I really care where he's taking me. He already told me all what I needed to really know. As long as it's somewhere I can rest my soul, as he said, I don't really care where it is, because that's where I need to be right now. And as long as it's him I'm with, I won't need anything more.

Soon enough, Shawn stops the car about a hundred-meter distance away from a cliff. I turn to look at him and he smiles at me softly. "Come on." He exits the car, but I don't move. I can't move.

I just sit there frozen and watch him as he turn around the front of the car and walks over to my side and opens the passenger door for me. He takes my hand which was sitting on my thigh in his and I instantly feel electricity shooting through me as soon as his skin comes in contact with mine.
