Camila's P.O.V.

The sudden ringing of the bell as Shawn and I were still outside the gates of the school by his car reminded us both that this couldn't last forever and that we now had to part for the time being, much to both of our disappointment. I wished I could stay there with him longer, spending time with him was exactly what I felt like doing for the rest of the day, but not everything goes how you want it to, I guess.

And so after kissing his lips once more and telling him I'd see him tonight, I hopped off the hood of the car and walked back to where the girls were all standing, but not before turning my head his way and giving him a slight wave, which he returned as a smile graced his face.

Seeing him this morning made me feel happy in every way, aside from giving me a sense of closure after what happened yesterday. I look forward to mornings like this in the future, and I hope he does too.

"You guys are in such a honeymoon phase." Hailee grins as I'm approaching the four of them and I roll my eyes before heading in the direction of the gate. "Shup up, Haiz."

"What? It's cute!" She defends her statement as she, along with Lauren, Sofia and Sabrina, follow behind me.

"I just love how you guys have absolutely no shame and are totally okay with making out in public."

At that, I stop in my track and turn to look at her incredulously. "Hailee!"

She and the rest of the girls burst out of laughing and I roll my eyes and turn back, walking towards the gate with them following behind closely.

"Ah, I love how easily you get irritated when we mess with you about this." Lauren comments and I ignore her and simply keep walking.

"But for real, though, how much do you bet they could've gone even further?" I hear her ask and I stop again and turn to look at the four girls behind me.

"Guys! Seriously, cut it off! It's not funny!"

"Uh-uh," Lauren shakes her head. "It's actually very funny watching you get pissed like that and turn into a tomato, so no can do." She smirks and I roll my eyes once again and turn back, having had enough of their teasing.

These girls.

I knew I'd hear it from them at some point and I warned Shawn about it, especially from Hailee and Lauren, since they, out of everyone else, love to tease me about him with passion. And as you've just observed, it's a losing battle for me every time.
