Chapter 8; Home Alone

Liza's POV

So this morning my dad will be surprising my mom with the cruise . Me and him sat down stairs in the living room waiting for her to come down . As she walking into the room she sat down to the left of my dad " mom, dad has a surprise for you " I say with a smile . She looked confused " hunny I know how long you have wanted to go on a cruise . So I decided for our 23 year anniversary I would take you on one . " he said as he pulled out a founder and handed it to her . Her mouth dropped open when she opened it revealing 2 tickets . " when is this ?" She asked " well that's the thing . We pack tonight and fly to Florida then we get on the cruise tomorrow morning " my dad said " wait theirs only two tickets what about Elizabeth?" She asked " dad invited me but I wanted y'all to have your time together " I spoke " who's going to watch her ?" She asked " Mayor Hanna said she will have Gabbie call her everyday to check on Liza . Jean (AN;Liza's moms name ) everything is planned out ."

After that was said they headed up stairs to pack . Which didn't take long because their flight to Florida leaves at 1 . I walked them to the door and we said our goodbye and I waved them goodbye as the pulled out the drive way and drove down the road . I then walked back inside closing and locking the door behind me . Now it was 11:45am so I decided to get me something to eat . I walked into the kitchen and I go through the fridge . I pull out some yogurt, strawberries and blueberries. I set them on the counter and I go to the pantry to get the granola. After that I grabbed the cutting board and a knife . I then heard a knock at the door . I walk over to answer it and it's no one other then Gabbie and Kristen " Hey girl !" Gabbie said " Hey what are you doing here ?" I asked her with a little chuckle " well Gabbie told me your parents are out of town " Kristen said " yes they are . Come in " I say as I let them in and they follow me to the kitchen . " y'all want a parfait ?" I asked a they nodded .They helped by Gabbie washing off the fruit and Kristen grabbed bowls and spoons . Soon we began to eat while talking . " So what are we doing for the 4th of July ?" I asked " oh pool party at Corinna's " Kristen said with a spoon fool of her food in her mouth " shit that's in three days !" Gabbie says " and I don't have a bathing suit !" I said " looks like we are going shopping " Kristen says . And we all laugh .

David's POV ;
Right now Zane and Scotty were over at my house and we had nothing to do. Zane was talking about the 4th of July while Scott was talking about his brother taking his car keys today . Then the room went quiet as Zane's phone went off " Hey it's from Gabbie , she says that they need to go shopping for bathing suits for the 4th and she wants us to help" he spoke " sure " Scott says " alright and Todd and Corinna will meet us their . " he added . He soon texted her back and they would be over here soon to pick us up . About 5 minutes passed and I heard a honk outside . We headed down stairs and I remembered my mom wasn't home . Since she took Ester , Sara and Toby to the community pool . We walked outside and got inside  Liza's Tesla . " Hey dudes " Liza said and I cleared " that's not my " nick name " I said and she smiled " hey dudes AND babe " she said and I smiled " oh hey Liza " I said mad everyone laughed . We soon arrived at the mall and walked in . We met Todd and Corinna outside of JC Penny's " Let's go to Rue 21" Corinna said and the girls agreed . We walked in and the girls went and found some swim suits . They all probably picked out about 5 to try on and then they went to the dressing rooms . Todd, Scotty , Zane and I went and took a seat outside of the girls dressing rooms .

Liza's POV ;
Me and the girls are trying on our swim suits that we picked out . I first tried on this one

I stepped out to let David and the guys see . Like we all are close and it's not like "personal " As I did Kristen stepped out "um babe ?" He said and I gave him a confused look " Your mine so only I should see you in this for now " he spoke some what serious but jokingly . I knew he added the " for now " part because they all will soon see me in one on the 4th ." Yeah David's right . The girls have to have it as a surprise for everyone else " Todd said and the other guys agreed . Scott pushes Kristen back into her changing room to where he would only see her and David did the same to me . " so do you like it ?" I asked him as I done a little spin . " I love it but it's just not enough " I raised a eye brow " not enough what ?" I questions he then winked and stepped out of the dressing room closing the door behind him . I smiled to myself as I tried on the other ones .

But so far David had only liked the first one " here's the last one David " I said as I opened the door . He then looked at me " perfect , just enough for me " he said with a lip bite that was so hot . I thanked him and got changed back into my other clothes . I bought thee first one and the last one . After that I dropped everyone off at their houses . David had to go home because he had to watch Sara and Toby . Since Ester was at a sleepover with some friends . I then made sure all doors and windows were locked before I headed to my room and went to sleep .

Can some of y'all comment on what you would like to see in the future chapters . Because now it's kinda hard coming up with new stuff for every chapter . Like what would y'all like to see happen . Like it can be good or bad . It doesn't matter
