David and Liza ; High School Pt2

Chapter 13; sixteen

Liza's POV ;

Today is David's 16th birthday . I hate that he has to spend it in here trying to live a normal life . But we will make it work . I woke up and checked the time, which it was only 10:30am . I felt David's warms get tighter around my waist . I knew this was going to be difficult. I slowly moved one of his arms so I could get out of bed . I successfully made it and I silently congratulated myself . I then quietly walked into the bathroom to get ready . I put on an outfit that David picked out for me . It was a burgundy shirt with black shorts . I left my hair down and I did my basic makeup . I then silently left the bathroom and I headed out the bedroom and down the hall . Kristen and Paige were in the kitchen looking at something " good morning " I say with a smile " morning . Is David still in bed ?" Paige asked and I nodded " great . Me and Kristen just out the cake in and we're setting the timer for it now " she says while throwing away the box that the cake powder came in . " his favorite type of icing is chocolate right ?" Kristen asked " yes it is he loves it " I say and we laugh quietly . " Josh , Todd , and Zane are setting up David's gift " Gabbie says while walking into the kitchen . Winnie and Vince bought him a Wii . Which it's really for everyone . But even though we're held hostage they really do think we're their kids and daughter and sons in law . Or what ever, their completely crazy ." Gabbie can I put together David's gift in your room ?" I asked and she nodded . We walked down the hall and into their room . I had hidden his present in their so he wouldn't find it . It was a TWENTY ØNE PILØTS Album some vans . About a week ago he saw both of them on tv showing on a commercial. I also had a black bag for them both with some black and white tissue paper for it . I sat on Gabbie and Zane's bed and I put in the album and shoes . And Gabbie helped me add the tissue paper and on the card I wrote
"To David for Liza 🖤"

"Soon it will be a month " Gabbie whispered to me . My head came up and I tuned to her " I know . I hate it " I say as I look back down " we have to get out of here one day . We can't be down here forever . " I added " but what if we don't Liza ? What if we will be prisoners to them forever ?" She asks sadly " then we will make the best of life . Do as they tell us to . Give them " grand kids " but we will teach our kids the truth when theirs older . What ever it takes " I say and Gabbie nods . I then heard a knock on the door . I look and see it's The girls : Kristen , Corinna , Trisha and Paige . All standing in the door way with their eyes watery . Corinna's emotional self runs over and hugs us . The rest follow behind and they started to cry silently . " it's okay " Trisha says while trying not to cry. We all believed we would get out of here one day . But we didn't know if they day out come . " listen girls " I say as they all got quiet. "If we don't get out of here we need to live our life to the fullest . Have kids , do good things . " I say and I hear sniffle" one day or parents wanted us all to have kids . They want to be grandparents . I know we're only 16 but let's do it for them " I say and they nods .
Soon we all calmed down and got a hold of our self's . Soon at 12 Winnie and Vince will be down here for David's party . They said they had a secret surprise for David . That none of us new about . We're all just waiting to see what it is .

David's POV ;

Today's my birthday . Wow I'm finally 16 years old . If I wasn't here then I'd be at home with my mom and siblings . My mom would of probably made my favorite breakfast . Which is Blue Berry Pancakes . I got up and put in my usual clothing . Black everything . I soon checked the time and saw it was about time for Vince and Winnie to come down . So far only Paige is pregnant . But I know they want all the girls to get pregnant . But id hate for all these girls to go through it . They are so young and shouldn't have to go through it this young . I walked down the hall and into the kitchen where I saw Corinna and Trisha " Hey David ! Happy birthday !" Corinna says while walking towards me with her arms out wide . We then collide into a hug "happy birthday David !" Trisha says and I thank them . Soon everyone comes in and gives me birthday wishes. " where's the birthday boy ?" I heard a in wanted voice say . It was Winnie's . She then entered the kitchen and hugged me " happy birthday son !" Vince says and he pays my back " thanks V and Winnie " I say while adding a smile . " let's open presents " Winnie says while walking into the living room and we all follow . Everyone already had the gifts out on the floor and I opened them . One was a Wii with games and controllers for us all . While one was a camera to take pictures with . I mainly loved Liza's . It was a album I had wanted and some Vans I had also wanted . " sport I also have you another present " Vince says . Wow , another nickname that's useless . Vince went out of the area and walked in with a box . It was kinda big . He sat it down in front of me and I looked at home " go ahead open it ?" He says . I listen and I open it and it reveals something that I thought I'd never get to see in person . I dog. Well more like a puppy . It was white and it had the more bendable ears ever. " awww"everyone said as I grabbed the pup and sat him in my lap . I could tell everyone wanted to get their hand on em . " what is it ?" Jason asks " it's a girl !" Vince reply's . " what are you going to name it D ?" Liza asks me " I don't know " I reply . "Well we should get going . Sorry we couldn't stay long but I hope you have a fun birthday " Winnie says " dog food is in the laundry room " she adds . I was so happy they were leaving . I'd rather spend my birthday with my friends and new friends then them . I stayed in the living room with Scott , Kristen, Trisha and Jason . While everyone else left . " Oh my god David I have the perfect name " Scott said " Link!" He added " as in Link in Bio ?" Kristen asks and he nods " yes ! Link it is !" I say . Soon I was surprised with my favorite cake that Liza and I think it was Gabbie who helped made it . We ate some cake while I cooked some burgers

Later that night ...
We all were watching tv . Well more like the news. It was showing Vernon Hills . My home town where my family ,Liza's ,Kristen's ,Scott's ,Todd's ,Zane's ,Gabbie's ,and Corinna's were grieving. They had did I memorial in front of Vernon Hills High . Pictures of us even as kids were up . And a group picture from Halloween . I saw my mom standing with my brother and sisters . Sad . She then spoke to the news reporter
" I know my son is still out their . Him and his friends are I just know it . Why would someone want to take away 8 children away from the ones who love them the most ?"

Those words were stuck in my mind . My mom knows we are still out their . When most of the world probably thinks we are just dead . Gone for good . I also noticed that early that morning they had another search group go out to different towns . Everyone who was helping search had in place shirts with our picture and names in it . I'm just hoping they get a clue or something . Because we are still out here . A live and wanting to go home .
