Chapter 5 (Run from the Gypceros)

Lapis's pov

We walked for several minutes until we found a monster den. "Shall we?"Peridot asked offering a hand to me. I giggled and accepted it. As we entered the dark monster den. I clutched Peridot's hand. "First time in a monster den?"She asked me.

I nodded "This is my 18th time"She said. "Wow..im impress!"I said. I can see her cheeks turn red. We heard a roar but we turned nothing was there. We entered a small hole into a big area. A gypceros was sleeping in it's nest. There were several eggs but one caught my attention "That's a gypceros egg!"I said pointing to a blue egg with light green spots it was near the gypceros's wing.

"We have to be quiet while I get it!"Peridot said creeping up on the nest. She slowly padded to the egg not to disturb the monster wyvern. She carefully grabbed it and slowly went down.

"Thanks"I said as she handed me the egg "No prob beautiful maiden"She said. I blushed and giggled as we went. I think Bruce stepped on a branch because the gypceros woke. "Oh shit"Peridot mumbled as the gypeceros stood up and roared. It charged at us "GO GO GO GO!"Peridot said as we rode on Bruce  who zoomed out of the den. The gypceros was at out heels. "She'll take care of your baby!"Nivarou said throwing a flash bomb. There was a light and the monster wyvern screeched. We flew faster but it didnt give up chase.

"Hurry Bruce!"Peridot said. Bruce nodded and shot a fire ball at the gypceros who stop only for 5 seconds. We almost near the entrance when the gypceros blew a flame ball at us we fell.

"Ill distract it go!"Peridot said throwing a flashbomb. I rode with Nivarou and Peridot threw another flashbomb. Then another but the monster got closer "Come on!"Periodt said searching through her pockets. She found the last flash bomb. The monster was inches away mouth open. Peridot threw it and the monster was dazzled "Let's go!"Peridot said as we flew away.

We went to the stables and hatched the egg"Aww how cute"I said holding the gypceros who roared happily. "Ill name him jip"I said.I went home and I saw my parents fighting.

"You let her go with the rider?!"She asked angrily to my father "Yeah"My father said. They saw me "Did you get hurt?"She asked. "No but I got a monstie!"I said. Her face turned to rage "HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO BE GAY AND RIDE A MONSTER EVEN MUCH WORSE YOUR OWNING ONE?!"She screamed angrily.

I wanted to cry "Stop it Melien she wants one so let her have it!"My father said. My mother sighed and glared at me. "Alright you can keep it"She said."Yes"I cheered. "No fair!"Blueshard said crossing his arms. "Nothing's fair dear brother"I said
