Thank you for almost getting us shattered

Chapter 5: the kiss

It was another draining day at the office, after submiting all due paperwork YZ managed to free herself from work. She ordered the aqua Tourmaline in the administration to pass any new case to his colleague Amber Zircon, Yellow would deal later with her complaints for she had more urgent things going on, like the unsettling feeling she had been deealing with since her last reunion with Blue.

She hadn't been able to settle down since that confession that  came out unadvisely in Blue's office: " I can't believe it, why did I say that?! - she was mentally scolding herself sittin at her desk - I mean it's not like I hate her but what was that? Since when has she turned so beautiful, so astonishing, her eyes have always been that enticing? Aaaaah, my stars, what's wrong with me?! I can't look her in the eyes it's so embarrassing and yet I WANT to look at her, I want to be near her, I want... Mmmh, her skin must be soft I mean she looks so delicate so... WHAT AM I THINKING?! AAAAAAHHHHH - she let a frustrated gasp- "Damn it - now she was talking loud to herself - damn Rose Quartz and damn that silly and daring Zircon - she said vanishing her tablets and leaving for Blue's office-.

Yellow knocked heavily on Blue's office door "Come in" -said a very busy blueish Zircon- "Oh, Yellow, you're just in time. I'm writing and inform to present in my audience with Blue Diamond where I show in detail my theory and argue about why Rose Quartz shattering Pink is not a viable theory, I'm planning getting to the witnesses, the Ruby from the trial for example"

"But that Ruby said she saw RQ shattering PD..."

"Yes! But that's why I need her, she might have seen RQ briefly before that happened but it doesn't prove Rose did it!"

"It doesn't?"

"No! The shatterer could have seized the opportunity to do commit the crime! This Ruby has a blind spot, right? So she could have missed something, something very important and I need to know exactly  everything she saw that day. I must asses all posibilities and I need more witnesses as well!"

"Well, it sounds plausible. Most of Pink's court found shelter in Blue Diamond's court so you could find some more witnesses but even so, do you really think someone will be willing to help you?"

"Ugh, for once in my life I'm feeling confident and optimistic and both are feelings I doubted I'd ever be capable of having - she said placing both hands on her hips, Yellow watched as Blue's suit tightened around her waist- , could you please just help me out a bit?"

Yellow gulped "I hate to break it to you, darling, but I'm just being realistic - she said looking away so that Blue wouldn't notice her blushing-.

"Realistic, huh? - she responded approaching too near for Yellow's liking- It wasn't me who said that we'd build a solid argument no matter what - she bend a bit and stopped at a few centimetres away from Yellow's face, who was desperately trying to cool herself down- or you've already repented, huh?"

This was too much for Yellow to bear, the closeness was torturing, her head was going blank and her hands trembbled a bit she would have sworn that her gem would explode if she didn't do something quick. She shut her eyes thight and in a swift movement took the back of Blue's head and pulled in her pressing her lips against her owns. Swiftly but gently their lips melt together in a tender kiss, Blue stiffed in the first moment but then began to give in, Yellow hugged her  waist to have a better grasp on her. She was trying to be gentle but it was difficult, Blue tasted so good, Yellow wanted more. She explored her colleague's mouth with her tongue as if her gem depended on it and their kiss grew more passionate now it was Blue the one pulling in the yellow lawyer. She gently ran her delicate blueish fingers across Yellow's cheeks down on her collarbones and caressed her shoulders, Blue's touch was mesmerizing it made Yellow want more. She parted their kiss to go down on Blue's throat, she could hear the other Zircon trying to muffle a quiet moan with her hand and this made her so eager that she inadvertently bit to hard on Blue's throat.

"Auch! - Blue winced -

"I- I'm sorry, did I hurt you? You ok?"

"No, no, it was... ehem... interesting "

"Erm, is that good?"

"V-very... - Blue looked away shyly-

"Oh, uhm, that's great because I liked it too, I mean! I'm sorry I was a bit too pushy I dind't mean to force it on you, I'm sorry! I won't do it again I don't want to make you uncomfortable"

"Who said you did?" - Blue replied extremely blushed-

"What?"

"Nothing! We- we should get back to work! I wanted you to help me look for the best way to present the case to Blue Diamond"

"Oh right, the case!" - Yellow had completely forgot about it all she could think about was how good Blue tasted - "We'd better get down to bussiness". 

"Yeah, the case" - Blue giggled nervously- .
