The wind howls as the lone figure stands on a steep cliff, their cape flowing in the wind. In front of them was a magnificent black dragon, it's head raised high and on it's back was a man. Anyone could tell it was a hologram but the figure looked worried. Her face was full of grief and tears flowed freely down her face and her lips were set in a scowl.

"I should have never let him gain power" Her voice was loud in the quiet darkness of the night despite being only a whisper. "I Have to give the varden an edge" And that was when she decided that he would do nicely, very nicely. With a wave of her hands and a few unrecognisable words the pocket world was changed. "I always liked farmers".

She let out a short laugh as her body was dissolved into light before solidifying somewhere else. She took a look around her and smiled, reveling in the familiar sight of white columns and twelve massive seats each a different style, after a short walk she stepped in front of what seemed to be a fishing chair. Placing a hand on the bottom she spoke in the same language as before. A omnipotent voice responded, the voice echoed sounding almost as if it was coming from everywhere at once.

"Why do you lay a hand on my throne, Hecate" An amused chuckle followed ruining the mysterious, dark tone the voice had. The figure, Hecate, explained her problem. "What does this have to do with my son" Once again Hecate explained her solution.

"I don't like it, it's too dangerous for him"The voice sighed "But i see why you need him, so i'll allow it as long as you promise he will stay safe"

"I can't guarantee he won't get a bruise but i won't let him die either" Hecate grumbled "My people are in danger too, you realise that right?"

"Yes but you people are just in a realm you created and you can do as you like, my son is real and he is important to many people"This was only a mumble but Hecate must have heard. She launched into a rant and only stopped once it was clear that her point was across.

"You should know i can only suggest things to powerful people in my 'Pet-World' Poseidon. If i directly influenced things then my people would revolt, that is why i need Percy's help." Hecate inhaled clearly out of breath. Her face was red and her breathing was unbalanced.

"Fine but I am going to need to talk to you more about this so we are crystal clear, understood?"Poseidon responded, his voice taking on the force of a tsunami.

"Understood Lord Poseidon" Hecate took her hand of the throne and sank to her knees. "Please save them Jackson. I believe in you" She rose and took a step back admiring her own work when she felt a disturbance in the forces of the world. A silent cry flew through the night, and she knew what had happened for it was foretold years ago. Tonight a world was saved, a life was lost, and a hero was broken.
