Hey guys! I'm not sure how obvious its been in the past few chapters but the Punk and the Princess is wrapping up, this current time-frame is the last one there will be! No more time jumps left! I just thought I should let you guys know that i'm tying up a lot of loose ends in the next few chapters and if it seems like there isn't enough drama, know that is why. However, there is still a little bit of craziness to come before Dave and Julia's story is over so stay tuned! Love you all and please let me know what you think of where the story is going/has gone recently :))

You wake up the next morning to the sound of Dave knocking on your doorframe.

"Good morning" You mutter, rubbing your eyes as walks in.

"Morning sunshine" He says with a grin. He walks in and sits down on the edge of your bed.

"Any chance you made me breakfast?" You ask and he laughs, before producing a large paper cup.

"Better—coffee, I got it from the best little café in the area" He says and you look at the cup again.

"Dave it's from Starbucks, I can see the logo" You say and he grins mischievously.

"Damn I thought I'd fooled you" He says sarcastically, leaning over and kissing you.

"Well thank you anyway" You say, taking the coffee, "So last night you said you wanted to show me something, what was it?"

"I'm not gonna tell you until we're there." He says with a twinkle in his eye.

He seems too excited for you to rebuff him in any real way so you decide to go with it, "What should I wear?"

Ten minutes later you're dressed in a denim skirt and t-shirt with coffee in hand, hopping into the passenger seat of Dave's truck.

You're pretty sure the short denim skirt wasn't really a necessity but you were willing to throw Dave a bone after your years apart, plus it was nice to see the way he reacted to you, it was cute watching his mouth drop open when he saw you in it.

"So any clues besides a 'casual dress code'?" You ask, using air quotes and he shakes his head.

"No can do princess, this is a top-secret operation" He smirks, as he turns off of Annie and Jimmy's block and onto a busier street.

"So is it a restaurant?" You ask and he laughs.

"No, it is not" He says, without taking his eyes off the road.

"Is it a...monument?" You ask, running low on ideas. When you reach a stoplight he laughs to himself before finally turning to you. He takes your hand in his and kisses it, looking deep into your eyes.

"Just let it happen Jules, you don't need all the answers right away all the time" He says, in way that isn't condescending only because its coming from someone who knows you so well.

"Fine" You pout, continuing to hold his hand but still looking out the window curiously. When he turns into a residential neighborhood you get a better idea of where you were headed.

"Wait, are we going to your house?" You ask, trying to balance out the excitement in your tone.

"Currently pleading the fifth" He says but your question is answered when he pulls into the driveway of an unfamiliar home.

Even though you didn't recognize the house, you could recognize its beauty. It was modern and thoroughly out of place in the neighborhood full of baby-boomer bungalows, but you loved that. It was in the middle of a forested area, even more like a tree house than Annie and Jim's place, with a huge wrap around porch all made of dark wood and a very strange architecture that you couldn't even describe.
