Behold. Thee hath updated! I was overwhelmed by college work and writers block. Also, I will now be starting to integrate the anime storyline into this book, so hopefully things will get a lot more interesting from here.

Unfortunately, I'm not up to date on OP, and only wrote this chapter after watching episode 207. This means that updates won't be as consistent unless I randomly find the time to binge on OP! (Yes I know. Brilliant preparation skills Rai! Guld sta fer yu!) Bwaaa I'm not happy!!

7 years later (just so you know, our protagonist is now 26 human years old, but roughly 19 nekomata years old. Hence, she looks pretty darn young for her human age)

"The time has come!" Chanted an exceedingly tall man clad in nothing but a pair of stripey pink leather pants and a pompous pink feather coat. He towered over the crowd like a monument.

"Go forth and lay the groundwork! A world where only true pirates can survive will soon be upon us! Those without power, flee while you still can! The tide shall bring those of unmatched power and the New Era shall begin!"

Silence befell the shaken masses after the speech, eyes silently watching the speaker stroll gaudily away after he was finished proving a point.

That day, business had ran as usual in the violent and unruly streets of Mock Town. That was, until a fight so unexpected, even for this towns reputation, abruptly broke out in the streets once night fell.

Bellamy the Hyena, captain of the Bellamy Pirates, lay face down in the mud unmoving. It had been his own first mate, Sarquis, who first attacked him. But it hadn't been intentional. The two men had fought with bodies that were no longer under their own control. Ultimately, it had been the Shichibukai, Donquixote Doflamingo, who had ended the captains life as an example to the disbelieving onlookers of what happened to weak men who served him.

At first, it was thought that the Shichibukai was alone, but it appeared that he hadn't been, for close to where he stood, perched on top of a barrel of beer and somehow unoticed until now, stood an ominous, broadly smiling, tall and slender woman. A long black braid of hair rested over her shoulder which stood out in contrast to the bold yet elegant pale blue hue of her undone kimono which allowed you an open view of rippling muscles and an appreciatively sized bust. Her hakama hung so low down on her waist, presumably from the two swords hanging heavily from the silk obi, that it left very little to a man's imagination. Yet very few, if any, focused on her appealingly tanned and toned looks for long. One abrupt person in the crowd whispered frantically in worry, creating a nervous muttering uproar. Many on the island knew her to be Captain Tiger, leader of the Tiger Pirates who manned a fierce gallion appropriately christened Tigers Fist. They were a crew who diligently followed every command to the letter under the molten gold gaze of the young Captain Tiger, who, was as ferocious as the name suggested.

"Hah~? Wait–– Wait a second, Flamingo Man," the woman drawled, leisurely pacing after his retreating figure. "Before you run amok and all that. . . A world where only pirates can survive? That's a bit inconsiderate, don't ya think?"

Doflamingo was still getting over his brainless cackling. "Oh? Well that is the way things shall be, and nothing will change that. You'll see."

Walking ahead, Tiger hooked her thumbs in the yellow folds of the sash around her waist. "Well I think it's impossible–– stupid too," she chuckled. "What makes a pirate, Flamingo? Lust for gold? Precious jewels? There's more to it than that. And what about those with power who are not pirates? Your prediction is terribly flawed. Sounds more like a you problem, your highness.

Just for the hell of it, you know what I predict?" She continued, giving him no room to get a word in. "I predict that that title of yours will, at some point soon, no longer be relevant. Ever since the incident with Crocodile, the Shichibukai have been under close surveillance. Watched for things such as... This." She jabbed a thumb behind her at the pirates who worked for him in secret.
