" Heya boss.. " I groan while pinching my nose. " Yeah, I'm not feeling too well right now, might be down with the flu and cough, probably a little fever. I feel a lil tad queasy too", trying my hardest not to exaggerate my "illness".

"Its from all the cigarettes you are smoking boy" my supervisor berated. "Cut down will ya, it's for your own good, take the day off then. Make sure you come back tomorrow to finish up what you are suppose to do today."

"Yeah, I'm just gonna carry on resting now, I'm sure I'll be fine tomorrow." and with that, I hung up the phone. Alright! Time to carry on with the actual plans. 9 A.M. I switched on the Tele, hoping I could catch some news before I set off with helping Cheryl with her errands. Haaaah, Cheryl, so beautiful. I would gladly become her trusty servant and help her with everything. As I carried on day dreaming, the anchorman was blabbing on about news I couldn't really care about, "yeah, this is why I don't watch the news" I reminded myself.

I hopped out of bed, never have I felt this excited to leave my bed in the longest time, and prepared to freshen myself up. I kept the T.v on, its nice to have some sounds while I get ready, it makes you feel not so alone.

"and moving on, a car crash on sixth avenue has resulted in a death, eye witnesses recounts states that the car had tried to beat and red light and had resulted in crashing with a van..."

"Reckless drivers, when will they ever learn?" I muttered under my breath as I stepped into the shower. Hot showers are the best, they help me relax and I feel like there isn't a worry in the world. "Wonder if Cheryl likes hot shower?" I blushed at the though of her racy body.

I rummaged through my clothing, formal outfit after formal outfit. Goodness, how long has it been since I wore something casual? I threw on a black polo tee, accompanied by some knee length shorts and a pair of boat shoes. "Hey, not looking bad aye" I complimented myself shamelessly as I posed infront of the mirror. " Maybe if I finish up quickly, I could ask Cheryl out for a nice dinner !"

"Morning! I'm gonna go collect the letter now from WorkMechanics. Thats the place right?"

*Bzzz* I was surprised at the prompt reply.
"Hey.. Yes that's the place! Once again thank you"

"Hey, no worries, like i said, its my pleasure"

*Bzzz*
":)"

My heart fluttered. Im not gonna screw this up! I walked out of my front door, with the biggest grin on my face. This is gonna be a good day, I can feel it!

As I walked into the air conditioned office of WorkMechanics, beads of sweats were racing down my forehead. It's been a really warm day! I walked over to the counter and rang the bell a few times, but no one attended to me. I looked around, hmm, doesn't seem like there is anyone around.. maybe I'll just head out for a quick smoke. With the cigarette pressed on my lips, I being searching my pockets for my lighter, dang! Must have forgotten to bring it out. I surveyed the area and saw a guy, presumably a mechanic, standing around puff about also.

"Hey! Can I borrow a light?"

"Yeah". He reaches for the lighter in his breast pocket with his greasy finger.

"You know if there will be anyone by the counter soon? I'm here to collect some stuff on behalf
of a friend, she left in here a while ago"

"What ya lookin fer? Tell me and after I'm done I'll go fetch it fer ya"

"Oh its a letter, she said if I told you its from uhh...a red Mercedes, uhh *goodness my memory is getting hazy*, uhh carplate 7100, sounds familiar? She said if I mention that, you would know what I'm talking about."

He shot me a quick glance, " the owner a friend of yers?"

"Yeah, she told me she needed the letter delivered and I'm here to help her do that ". I said in between puffs.

He stubs out his cigarette, and does a little low groan followed by a very silent sigh. He walks over and patted my shoulder, " give me a minute I'll bring it out for yer".

He handed me a crumpled and slightly torn enveloped.

"Wow, is this how you guys treat lost and found stuff?" I sarcastically questioned.

"Hey, its found in this exact condition. Watch yer mouth buddy" He glared into my eyes. The man's twice my size, I decided it wouldn't be wise to intigate it further. "Alright, alright. Take chill pill man. Geez"

"Hey it's me again, I just collected the letter, it's a bit crumple and torn. That's okay with you?"

*bzzz* Does she stay on her phone 24/7?
"Haha, yeah thats just like me.. I'm abit careless with my stuff"

"Ohh, I didn't mean it that way, I thought the people at the workshop did a bad job keeping it for you"

*bzzz*
"Dont blame them, haha, you remember the address right? 100 Cascadence park #03-65"

"Yeah! I'm making my way over now! Hey I was wondering, uhm, if I happen to be done early, you wanna get dinner with me? :)"

*bzzz* please say yes please say yes
"We shall see :)"

As I walked out of the workshop, with the sun shining brightly overhead, my smile was brighter.
