I could feel the cool gentle breeze on my face as we held hands while watching the sunset, my fingers gently intertwined with hers. I looked at her beautiful face, radiating brighter than the evening sunset. I caressed her black hair gently, pushing it behind her ears, causing her to have a pale pink blush on her cheeks. This is it. This is the moment. This is MY moment. Slowly, I leaned in, and she too. Just as our lips were going to touch..

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

I threw my alarm clock out of the window. Curses and swears filled the air the moment I heard it break on the pavement below. DANG IT.

"Morning :)" I keyed in with my eyes half closed and my mind still replaying the dream

*Bzzz* Seriously? Does she ever get off her phone?
"Heya! How was sleep last night? :)"

"It was good I guess? Hahahaha? How about you?" I was dying to tell her about my dream.

*Bzzz*
"Hmmm, it was okay too i guess? Preparing to go to work now?"

And it went on, we were constantly texting each other. The commute to work never felt faster. I think my glow was spreading throughout the office, for once it didn't feel like a hell hole. Maybe I should ask her out for lunch today. Hmmmm.

"Lunch today? My treat! :)"

*Bzzz*
"Pretty swarmed with work, sorry~"

"Hahaha, it's okay. How about tonight?" Felt a little disappointed but I still get to see her at the end of the day no?

*Bzzz*
"I could do night, same corner say 8pm ? Hahahaha"

"Sure of course!" And we carried on, talking about the movies that we like. The music she listens to, the amount of work that really is never ending, me complaining about everyone and everything in my office. We just have so much in common. I'm beginning to think my life isn't that bad anymore. Heehee. But it's back to work. Sigh. At least Cheryl's here to "talk" to me I guess.

7.30 P.M. I stood up gave my back a little stretch. Ahh, finally my long awaited 2nd "date" with cheryl is finally here. I packed my stuff and pranced out of my office like a happy leprechaun to his gold. So excited to see her!

I reached the usual corner and looked around, hmm, she's not here yet, I'm probably early I guess, and proceeded with lighting up a stick. Wonder if she's against smoking. Hmmm. What if she wants me to quit? Oh my god. Cigarettes or Cheryl? While lost in though, I felt this tap on my shoulder and I turned around, there she was smiling at me. Gosh. What did I do my previous life to meet such a gorgeous girl. Pretty, smart, we have much in common too.

"I hope you don't mind" I chuckled, " Pretty much the only thing that is keeping me sane nowadays"

"Nah" she reassured. She was again wearing this long white dress, but this time with flora patterns printed on the side.

"You really like white dresses don't you? I said jokingly

"Yeah, it's kinda my thing now"

"So, you hungry? Or still full from your lunch again? hahahah"

"Hmmm, kinda still full. I'm so sorry I just don't eat much" She replied bashfully.

"It's alright, how about we go to the nearby park and just talk?"

She nodded delightedly and we made our way there. I love how she prefers to walk, most girls nowadays want guys with fast cars. Where's the fun in that? By the time we reached the park, unknowingly, we were holding hands. We found a place to sit down and we starting talking again. About our childhood, about our dreams, anything under the sky we could talk about.

"Oh yea, I was thinking tomorrow I would be helping you deliver the letter again." Suddenly remembering I still had a task from her at hand.

"Uhmm, maybe it can wait, but I'm so sorry to trouble you really, because I can't do it myself." She replied with a disconsolate look on her face.

"Like I said, it's more than my pleasure to be able to help you" trying my best to comfort her. I really don't wanna see her sad!

"I'm so happy I get to meet you, before..." she stopped abruptly, turning away.

"Before what?" I was puzzled.

She kept quiet, with a dazed looked on her face. We were both quiet for that moment, it wasn't a form of awkward silence but it was filled with bliss, where two people where comfortable with each other and just enjoying each other's presence. She turned and stared into my eyes. Did I ever mention how beautiful her eyes were? I did? That hazel brown eyes that I could simply get lost in.

I could felt it at that moment. Just like in my dreams, but now it's definitely real. No alarm is going to suddenly ring and snap me out of the moment again. I lean in slowly, hoping she would do too. We were about to touch lips, when I felt her index finger on my lips.

"Not so fast pretty boy" She said cheekily, laughing as though she planned the tease.

Goodness! I mind went blank. DANG. I was so close, but at least it didn't go completely bad right? She grabbed on to my arm and rested her head on my shoulder, I made a quick move and lightly pecked at her forehead, could have sworn I head a slight giggle coming from her. So we sat there and enjoyed the cool night breeze.
