Hop on the bus next time

The next day at school me and Brody didn't say any words to each other . He was with that girl all day . I think her name is Aliyah , or at least that's what everyone has been saying . But Brody has been with her and he still shoots looks and glares at me it's annoying . I didn't care about that though i just wanted to get through today and get to the pike after school to go meet Darion . It was lunch and i was so ready to go .

"Hey boo ." Trish had said while sitting down across from me with Jared next to her .

"Hey" i had said while scrolling down Instagram .

"Why you so uh just gloomy right now" she took a bite of her burger .

"I'm not I'm just chillin girl you don't gotta worry about me ." I laughed and kept scrolling down my Instagram feed .

"You right . Hold on excuse us JJ we will be right back ." She grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the table .

We started walking out of the cafeteria and we passed Brody's table . He was laughing with his friends when we walked passed him .

"What oh my lord Trish" i put my phone in my back pocket and stopped walking once we were outside .

"Girl what happened with you and Brody . He hugged up with whoever that is and after what happened at the party and his house that doesn't make sense" she crossed her arms

"I don't know . Ask him . I actually am going out with someone else after school , his name is Darion . So i could care less about Brody and who he's hugged up with ." I gave her a sarcastic smile and turned to walk back in the cafeteria .

"Yeah whatever . The new dude better be cute to . Matter of fact show me a picture" she said it loudly so the people at Brody's table heard .

I don't know why her mouth so big . I wasn't trying to make him jealous or anything now he gone think that . We walked back to the table where Jared was and took our seats .

"Everything good sis ?" He asked me and looked back at Brody's table so i knew what he was talking about .

"Yeah . Everything is good ." I nodded my head and took a French fry off of his plate .

"Ay look nigga it's food right over there don't be taking mines ." He laughed and swatted my hand away from his plate .  Me and Trish laughed together . We continued to sit and talk about the most random things until the bell rang and we had to go back to class .

I loved the fact that i had friends who i could count on to be there for me . The fact that Trish was even concerned about me was really cool . My brother as well . I totally forgot about leaving my old school and my old friends . I still talked to cam so we were still really close . The bell to go to sixth period had rang .

Once i got into class  i finished my assignment and pulled out my phone . It had some Instagram notifications . The bell to leave school rang and i went back to my locker to go put my books away .

"Hey Ky" Brody has appeared on the side of my locker smiling .

I looked at him with a straight face . Like is he seriously gone come and try to talk to me after he with Aliyah . He knows i seen him to like boy be gone . I wasn't gone let him know i was upset about hat anymore though . I closed my locker .

"Hi" i responded dryly and walked off . Of course he followed after me . We walked outside and he was still walking with me .

"You wanna hang out Kylie ? We can go out to eat or something and go to my place . My brothers back so you could meet him ."

"Maybe another time ." I seen Darion walking over to me so i stepped away from Brody leaving him there looking stupid .

"Hey Lil one" Darion had said once he got to me .
