When Nick arrived, the party was in full swing. It took him awhile to make his way through the house to the backyard, stopping to greet and take photos with family and friends. He found Sarah, dancing with a group of girlfriends, in the backyard. He came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist, nuzzling her neck. She immediately knew it was him, reaching behind her to scratch his chin. She turned in his embrace, kissing him. "Hi, birthday boy".

"You look incredible" he murmured, "everything looks incredible".

"Do you like it, baby?" she asked, eager for his approval.

He looked around, taking everything in. He could tell she had worked hard to transform the yard, and it looked amazing. "This is crazy! I can't believe you did all this!".

She giggled, kissing him all over. "I'm so glad you like it!".

He laughed, gently patting her ass, keeping an arm around her waist as he made the rounds of the party, making sure to greet everyone. Once that was done, they went to the caterer's tent, filling plates with food. They made their way to a table, joining Daddy Yankee, Osuna, their wives, and Nick's good friend, Valentino, to eat. There were not enough chairs for everyone, so Sarah sat on Nick's lap.

"This is perfect, mami" he said, rubbing her back. "I love it".

She leaned down to kiss him "Good".

They enjoyed their meal, chatting with good friends throughout it. Sarah checked Nick's watch, jumping out of his lap when she saw the time. She disappeared into the house, then came back out, taking the stage with a microphone in hand. "Hey everyone!".

"Heyyyy!" the crowd shouted back, turning their attention to her.

"Nicky, can you come up here?" she asked. As he made his way to her, she continued speaking. "Thank you all so much for coming tonight, to celebrate my bae's birthday. On the count of three, everyone sing! One, two, three!"

Nick reached the stage just as the crowd started singing "happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Nicky, happy birthday to you!" Sarah pointed behind him to reveal a four tier birthday cake, lit with sparklers. The caterer's carried the cake between them, waiting for Nick to blow the candles out. Sarah made her way around the cake, standing next to him, cheering when he blew out all the candles. He hugged her tightly, scooping a finger full of icing from the cake, smearing it on her nose. She laughed as he sucked it all off, slapping his chest lightly.

He picked up the mic to make a speech. "First of all, thank you everyone for coming. I love each and every one of you". He turned to face Sarah. "Thank you, to this beautiful lady, for putting it all together. Sarah, you've made this the best birthday ever. You've made this the best life ever. I know I was supposed to give you a year, but...".

He knelt down on one knee, in front of her, causing an uproar from the crowd. Sarah's hands flew to cover her mouth. When he pulled a box out of his pocket, she knelt in front of him, cupping his face in her hands.

"Baby...." she gasped, forgetting there was a crowd of 120 people watching them.

"Sarah, will you marry me?" he asked, opening the box to reveal a dazzling diamond ring.

She kissed him, hard. "Yes!". The party guests whooped and cheered for the couple. Nick stood, pulling Sarah up with him. He took the promise ring he had given her 11 months ago off, sliding it on to her right ring finger. He replaced it with the engagement ring, bringing her hand to his mouth to kiss it. She jumped into his arms, hugging him tightly. They kissed passionately until someone yelled "get a room" from the crowd. Everyone laughed, and Nick told everyone to eat some cake and have a good time. They left the stage, hand in hand, Sarah's girlfriends immediately swarming them to get a look at the ring, while Nick received congratulations from people around them.

He wrapped his arms around Sarah's waist, from behind, guiding her through the crowd. Everyone wanted to stop and talk to them, wish them well, or see the ring. They made their way to the washroom, looking for a quiet place to talk. They went inside, locking the door behind them. Sarah immediately pulled Nick in for a kiss.

He held her, giving her an irresistible smile. "Did you have any idea?"

"That you were going to ask me to marry you?! No!"

"Good", he laughed. He hugged her tight, rubbing her ass.

She put her hand flat on his chest, looking at the ring. "It's beautiful baby", she whispered, a tear rolling down her cheek.

"Hey, hey, no" he said, wiping the tear away. "Why are you crying?".

"Remember when we did that People interview a few months ago?". When he nodded, she continued. "I said I wasn't lucky to have you. But, I was wrong. I'm so lucky. You are everything I ever dreamed of in a man, and I can't wait to be your wife forever".

He gripped her chin, tilting her head up to kiss her. "You're my dream come true too, mami. Since the night we went to the carnival, I knew you were it for me. I just couldn't wait any longer to ask you".

She smiled at him, biting her lip. He rubbed his thumb over her mouth before kissing her softly. When they pulled apart, he rested his forehead against hers. "Can we just stay in this bathroom until everyone leaves?".

She giggled, kissing the tip of his nose. "Everyone out there loves you. Let them have you. For tonight, only though. After that, you're all mine".

"Ooo, I like the sound of that!". He smacked her ass, hard, as they left the bathroom, rejoining the party.
