Previously, Lili genuinely adored her job, even if it meant she'd have to get up at four am to drive to set. But recently, she low-key dreaded working on Riverdale as Cole was there.

Lili didn't hate Cole, actually, it was the polar opposite...Lili loved Cole.
Prior to him encountering Darcy, she had felt zero romantic emotions towards him. However, as soon as she witnessed the pair flirting in the comment section of his Instagram post, a fierce pang punctured her heart. Since then, whenever Darcy and Cole flirted with each other in front of her, she felt it.
So, Lili did her utmost to avoid Cole because she'd reached the conclusion it would assist her in getting over him. However, it seemed like the universe was against this as nearly every scene she had to shoot involved him and almost  everywhere she went, he was. Once she'd visited the grocery store to buy some basic necessities for the cupboard and when she went to the aisle containing bread, he was there. When beholding him, her heart rate escalated massively. Fortuitously, she was able to escape before he noticed her. This has been a never-ending occurrence, the only difference being a change of locations each time.
And, she transitioned into a vastly distant and unhappy person. Nobody had really noticed that Lili hadn't been herself until she'd texted Madelaine a odd reply.

madelame: anyone noticed anything off about Lili?

camimendes: now that I think about it, I haven't talked to her in a while.

kjapa: same here, cami.

caseycott: same too

madelame : neither had I until yesterday
madelame: I wanted to talk to her as I hadn't talked to her in a while and she said she couldn't.
madelame: I told her to text me when she could and she responded with something along the lines of "she couldn't in a long time"
madelame: then she apologized for no reason.

caseycott: Lili loves talking to us. Somethings definitely going on.

kjapa: let's try to talk to her.

camimendes: yeah, let's do that.
