After the conversation with my sister, i realized that my sister was right, we had something, something new, something you can't find with someone else.
The phone rang, and rang, but drake never picked up. That was unusual, really unusual. I picked my coat up, and grabbed the keys to my sisters car. I had to figure out what was wrong.
I got to his house and knocked on the door. Drake opens it a little, sees me, and slips out. " what are you doing here",he asked hastily. "I...,I just, you weren't answering ",I said sounding like an idiot. And suddenly I regretted coming here. "I'll, I will just leave", I said slipping away. I had never seen drake like that, and it terrified me. What was he hiding?
I didn't talk to drake again all weekend. Monday, he wasn't in school either. I suddenly got worried, what if he wasn't hiding something, maybe something was wrong.
During study hall I snuck into the restroom and called him, "where are you",I asked as soon as he answered. He reassured me everything was fine and that he would pick me up after school for coffee. Still it was weird.
A whole week passed and it continued like that. He didn't come back to school at all. On Wednesday I got his work for him. When I tried to ask him why, he would never give me a straight answer.
"Hey", I said slipping into our usual booth Friday afternoon. "Hey,he said, I'm in a rush so I will just pick you up tomorrow for the day", never looking me straight in the eyes. "Okay, we'll can you drive me home", I asked.
He nodded his head and drove me home, he never spoke a word not even when I tried to make conversation.
We pull to a stop in front of my house. "Thanks for the ride", I say and start to get out. Suddenly he grabs my hand,"I love you ally, please know that, I'm sorry",he says with sad eyes.
"Your sorry for what drake", I ask grubbing his hand and just wanting to hug him so tight.
"What's wrong", I ask trying to look him in the eyes. " I'm sorry ally, I have to go we will talk in the morning",he replyed leaning in and kissing me on the cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow"he said and with that I left. What was wrong!?
