Chapter 14

Since that day at the cafe with drake, we had grown a lot closer, if that was even possible. He now knew everything. We'll almost everything.

I had just gotten home after another cafe date with drake when I made out a figure in the light of my front porch. I walked closer.

"Hey, stranger, don't know how to let yourself in, I asked. I ran up to my sister and hugged her tight. suprised that I remembered her.

See I didn't talk about my sister much because of what had happened. We used to be really close until suddenly she disappeared on my 12th birthday, I remembered that day so vividly. I never understood why she did what she did, but I did know she meant we'll, if not for us,for her.

"Hey, she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me tight, just like she used to,

"i heard", she whispered.

Suddenly my gut fell. Is that why she came back after 5years, I asked myself. But it didn't matter, she was home.

Come in, I temped, figuring she had already been inside and seen everyone. We sat in my room late that night and just talked. Five years ago we were unsepreatable, until she decided she had to go her own way. I had to admit she looked great, she looked happy.

"How's will", I asked, will was one of the reasons she left.

"He's good, she looked uncomfortable, he had to work and figured he wasn't welcome after everything.

I looked away, I didn't care for will, then again I didn't know him.

Are you staying? I asked.

No, I have to be back to work in 2 weeks I'm staying till then. I looked away, I knew it was to good to be true.

"But your gonna come back right?", I asked. "'Maybe permantly, she said, but you'll find out tomorrow with everyone else, she shrugs.

"So brayten is 7!? I can't believe I've been gone that long, you know he doesn't even remember me?", she asked.

I sat there for a minute. "He was two, I'm sorry. Your here now though u get to spend time with him",I said.

After she left, is when I counted on Kayla the most, we shut a lot of people out, we became so close and now I was alone.

The next morning we all got the truth, the secret, the main reason she was home. She was pregnant. And they were moving home. And we all were happy. I had my sister back, and also a niece on the way.

Later that night when I got back from the cafe with drake, I asked him to come in. He had already met my family and they loved him, but he had not met my sister.

About an hour later, he had met her, and had to go so I walked him out. "Wow, your just full of surprises, she's so much like you",he said. He moved in closer.

"I love you", and he leaned in and kissed me for the first time.suddenly I was head over heels. We stood there kissing for along time, me never wanting it to end, when he had to leave, I sat there a watched him leave, suddenly crying. The truth is he had my everything.
