Riding in a giant bus for so many hours everyday probably isn't the ideal pass time for anyone, but when you get motion sickness, it isn't ideal for you, or anyone near you. Luke was feeling pretty motion sick, after nearly four hours in the tour bus, with hardly any stops along the way. He wasn't usually one to get sick very easily, but with one of the other buses broken down, they had to pack everyone on to the two left. The close quarters, mixed with the blistering heat of the Texan summer, definitely was contributing to it.

Right now, he was trying to escape all of the commotion by hiding in the back of the bus with just the other lads. It was fairly quiet compared to everywhere else. Michael and Calum were battling it out on the XBox - playing a game Luke didn't quite recognize - and Ashton was doing something on his phone. Luke was just trying not to puke, half heartily watching the battle going on in the game. It was pretty gory, and was not really helping his situation. One particular shot gun splattered brains all over the screen, making him gag.

"You alright?" Ashton asks. It takes him a minute to realize that Ashton is talking to him.

"Yeah, uh, that was just kinda gross." He winces as Michael's character rips someone's arm off, making the other character gush blood.

"We play this all the time. What's gotten to you?" Calum asks, not even bothering to look away from the screen.

"I'm not really feeling that well." A high pitched beeping noise comes from the tv's speakers, but stops as soon as Michael pauses the game. Calum groans

"Are you sick?" Michael asks, turning to Luke.

"I dunno. I think it's motion sickness, or something." He scratches the back of his neck and looks out the window next to his head, scenery passing quickly in front of his eyes. Calum un-pauses the game just as a grenade goes off near his character. The man explodes, and he watches as the man's head shoots off his body and lands somewhere off-screen. This makes Luke's stomach tumble, and bile starts stinging in the back of his throat.

"Maybe we should ask the driver to stop, if you are-" Luke jumps out of his seat before Michael can even finish his sentence. He opens the door into the bunk/hallway area, and immediately runs to the bathroom. (He's really happy that this bus doesn't have the sliding doors, because they always take to long to open. Meaning, he probably would've thrown up in the hall before they even opened.) Dropping to his knees, just in time, he starts to vomit.

The bus vibrating below his knees makes him even more nauseous. He pukes twice before Michael opens the door, and joins him in the cramped toilet. Luke coughs and pukes into the toilet again before pulling away from it, and shutting the lid. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

"Still feel sick?" Michael asks. He starts running his fingers lightly over Luke's back. Luke nods; he swallows the thick spit in his mouth. It didn't help that the bus was currently driving over a particularly bumpy patch of land. "I should ask the driver if we can stop."

"No," Luke stops him, "we're already running late. If we stop now we won't make it in time for the show." Michael stays silent because he knows Luke is right. Luke pushes the pedal down at the base of the toilet to flush it.

"Do you wanna go back to your bunk to lay down, or something?" Michael's hand hasn't stopped rubbing Luke's back. It's a good distraction from the bounce, and jerky motions of the bus.
