It was a beautiful day on the Sacred Lion. Sunshine, the clear blue sea, it was relaxing. Even Alvida thought so.
"What a nice day. Ideal for a cup of tea." Jasmine said as she sat on her couch drinking pomegranate tea on the deck.
"If we keep going this way, we'll see the navy base soon!" Coby said.
"Coby! You are good! I see why Alvida kept you."
"Not to sound rude, but you're still in a good mood, Jasmine. With every minute that we get closer, the closer we'll be to him. The famous bounty hunter Roronoa Zoro! People say he's like a bloodthirsty animal, hunting down pirates, and cutting them down like their nothing. He's otherwise known as "the demon"." Coby warned with a serious look on his face.
Until he got a bump from a cane.
"Boy, you need to stop worrying or you'll never grow. I've never heard of a short marine." Andromeda said.
"Land Ho!" The twins shouted from the crows nest.
"Shells Island,"
"Dead ahead!"The crew rushed to the front deck to see.
The base was a bit small, but Jasmine found Zoro on her father's map.
"Yep, he's definitely there. Though there's something that bothers me. From what I've found, the one in charge of this base, Morgan is said to be feared among his own peers. Not only that, Zoro being a bounty hunter, he would only target people with a price on their heads. And there's no law against that." Jasmine said.
"That's a good point. You think something's going on?" Alvida asked.
"Well, whatever it is it won't be pretty," Ginny said.
"Uh, guys? Pointwise Captain Morgan is a Marine and Marines are supposed to protect the innocent right?" Coby protested.
"Coby," Jasmine said with a stern voice. " Just because someone wave the flag of Justice doesn't mean that they truly stand for it and uphold the law. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. If Morgan is really doing something that even his superiors would consider outrageous, he's not even honoring the code of the Marines. It gets even worse when the elites tune out the voices of the victims they created. Then again, when does anyone really listen to the government? If one person is breaking the rules it will cause even more scum to rise in their ranks, remember that Coby." Jasmine said in a grim voice.
Coby looked a bit shocked and then looked down. "I-i never thought of it that way."
Then the ship docked at the island, and a lot of people were buzzing. One was a marine soldier who scrambled to tell Morgan.
"Captain Morgan sir! A large ship has just docked, it's too fancy to be a marine ship, so it could be a royal ship."
"Royals huh? Which family?"
"Unfortunately I don't know. They don't have a mark or insignia. They may be wealthy merchants for another country."
"Hmm. Then I suppose that we should greet them."
"Yes, sir!"
At the dock, people were wondering if these people were royalty. They probably thought so since their leader was wearing expensive-looking clothing.
It looked like a crimson/golden version of what marine admirals would wear without the justice symbol, and it looked like silk to a trained eye. She also had black gloves on her hands, with her hair done in a high ponytail.
With her appearance, people would think that she's a royal.
She looked at the people that gathered and decided to ask them where Zoro was.
