Chapter one: Attacked

Ko perspective
I was driving home after work at the bodega, like around 10 almost 11, and as I drove home it began to rain. Man it was relaxing hearing just the rain gently hit my car. While driving I cane to a red light and stopped, I heard my phone ring and I was the only one on the road at that point so I put my car in park and quickly unbuckled myself and got my phone from my duffle bag. I immediately went back to sitting and buckled myself and turned my phone on it was from Dendy
Dendy 😘💘💕
Hey ko are you ok?
I smiled and texted in response
Ko
Yeah!
Soon afterwards i heard my phone ringed
Dendy 😘💘💕
Are you home yet?
I chuckled, been eight years and she still worries about me.
Ko
Not yet I'm driving home about now.
Immediately afterwards my phone buzzed
Dendy😘💘💕
WHAT!
I smiled and then my phone lit up to her face, she was calling me. I answered it.
"Hello?" "KO!"
Ouch my ear. I pulled my ear away from my phone.
"Wow ok-ow." "KO! ARE YOU DRIVING?!" "Ok Dendy calm down alright? I'm parked and not driving while texting so it's ok."
There was few moments of silence before I heard her sighed
"Oh thank lord. Ko I swear sometimes you scare me."
I laughed
"I'm fine I swear it's all good."
Just when I said that I looked in my rear view mirror and saw a shadow and it was standing in the rain. I whispered to myself, forgetting I was on the phone for a moment
"What the..." "ko?"
I continued looking at the figure and so did it but I had to sneeze and I did and when I looked up it was gone
"Ko? Are you ok?" "Dendy whatever you do don't hang up on me." "Why what is going on?" "Just trust me ok?"
Silence
"Ok ko."
Then I heard tapping and my heart began to race.
"Den-Dendy are y-you st-still there?" "Yes oh my god what's wrong I'm getting worried!" "I..."
then I heard something hiss and my throat went dry, I began to shake and felt tears sting my eyes as the tapping went to banging
"KO?! WHAT IS THAT NOISE!?"
I closed my eyes as I felt a tear fall down and breathed in and out
"I-I d-don't-"
Then the glass broke and I screamed
"HOLY FUCK!" "KO!"
There was laughing before the figure got inside and strangled me. I dropped my phone as I tried to survive
Dendy was still on the phone
"STOP PLEASE! (Cough) PL-PLEASE!"
I felt the world slowly go black and I felt my tears fall then black
Dendy's perspective
I was with ko on the phone for a while and after he assured me he was ok he suddenly went silent and the gentle rain can be heard. I suddenly felt that something wasn't right he then whispered something
"What the..." "ko?"
My anxiety began to rise I knew something was wrong. He sneezed then said he made this noise and said to me with strict but fear in his voice.
"Dendy whatever you do don't hang up on me." "Why what is going on?" "Just trust me ok?"
My throat felt dry up and I can faintly hear my heart beat in my ears but I just had to trust him, right now I did
"Ok ko."
Then there was tapping on the other side and my heart dropped and I can tell something bad was happening
"Den-Dendy are y-you st-still there?" "Yes oh my god what's wrong I'm getting worried!" "I..."
Then I heard him shakily breathe I wanted to do something much more than what I was doing now
"I-I d-don't-"
Then the sound of glass broke and my anxiety got into full blast
"HOLY FUCK!" "KO!
My tears were coming out and I was shaking. I heard a thud and he's screams. I put down my phone and listened
"STOP PLEASE! (Cough) PL-PLEASE!"
Then a few thuds then silence
I immediately hung up and began to call carol
"Hello Dendy how are yo-" "KO IS DEAD!"
"WHAT?!" "I-I mean I was with him o-on the p-phone (sniff) and...and the g-glass tapping then g-glass br(sniff) braking and s-screams and silence!"
Carol went silence then said
"Where was he?!" "Parked idk where-m-maybe the bodega!?"
She sniffed then sighed
"I'll go over there right now and tell Gene you tell Rad and Enid this instant!" "Alright." "Ko I'll call you when I get anything."
Then with that she hung up and I texted the two friends of ko
Dendy
Guys meet @ bodega right now! Ko was attacked!"
Not to long a buzzing
Enid
Oh shit ok we'll be there right now!"
And then I dropped my phone and stared at my wall. If I had venom and the wall was a person I'd kill them in a flash my eyes began to water and I cried my eyes out. My best friend and boyfriend just got attacked and I didn't do anything about it. Idiot. I grabbed and pillow and cried into it until I fell asleep.
