Chapter six: Escape

(It's been a few months since the last chapter since the Tko has been Ko friend he became more isolated and anxious and Carol and Gar have been doing whatever they've been doing and Ko has been thinking of quitting Gar's and possibly maybe even leaving home and starting fresh with Tko.)
Ko perspective
It was 4:00 pm when I woke up and I felt groggy at first but it went away when I heard a text on my phone I noticed my phone was on 7 percent and stretched when I heard Mom
"Hey kiddo!"
I turned to see her she was in the kitchen making food-but everything from this morning was gone.
"Try to act normal ko." "Thanks T."
I coughed then looked at her smiling
"Hey Mom."
I started walking down when I couldn't get the event of this morning out. I looked away from Mom and walked to get my charger and charged my phone then sat on the couch and turned on the tv flipping through
"So mom,"
She looked at me. I didn't know why but I wanted a answer already
"Yeah kiddo?" "This morning I heard you enter."
I didn't look at her at all but I can tell she stop everything she was doing and look at me for a moment
"You...you did?" "Yup and I also heard you interpreting Gar some show that was."
I don't know why but I felt good talking about confronting her
"Uh-Well-I..." "so mind to explain?"
I started to flip faster as I kept watching the ground the noise of the tv flipping and small instances of noise from the channels can be heard then she laughed nervously
"Um...well-" "Mom!"
I was looking still at the floor my hand on the remote flipping faster each second while the other in a fist
"Hahahahahahah well that was a dream sweetheart I don't remember that."
Immediately when she said that i stopped the tv on static and I got up looking down I threw the remote on the ground
"OH THAT IS-" "bullshit mom!"
I immediately got my shoes and a jacket that were next to the door and unplugged my phone and walked out
"Ko!"
I began to walk out the cold air was blowing at me. I noticed I was in my pjs which were a white sleeveless t-shirt and some shorts but didn't matter.
"KO!"
I began walking a bit fast.
"Damn leave us alone old women!"
"KAIO KINCAID YOU STOP RIGHT THERE!"
I did and was looking away but I closed my eyes in both annoyed and furious. She began to walk fast from her footsteps and then I slowly turned to her
"What Mom?!" "What is wrong with you boy I told you it wasn't real and you call bullshit?!" "So what if I call that bullshit I can ok?!" "Kaio you lower that voice of yours right now!" "And what about you?!"
She looked at me in shocked then slowly nodded at me
"What is wrong with you?" "What is wrong with me?!"
I put a hand in my face and began to laugh up to the sky then began to cry but laughed crazy a bit of a crack
"No carol what is wrong with you?" "What?!" "BITCH!"
Mom looked at me in shock then I looked at her evilly then pushed her and ran to the house and immediately locked it. I stood there guarding the door as I heard her banging it
"KAIO OPEN THE DOOR!"
I then smiled and began to get a duffle bag and put some clothes inside with my P.O.W cards and everything I needed I found my moms wallet and put it in there and and some food and water.
"KAIO!!!!"
Banging.
I went to the bathroom to get my brush,toothbrush, and other needs when I looked in the mirror I felt T with me he was helping me that's why I felt brave. I left there and went in moms room and searched there was some good stuff like jewelry, a camera, a photo of us in peace, and...
"No way!"
A fucking pocket knife I looked around and put it in then there was more banging I looked around and saw my moms phone and then took it then...
"KO!"
"Shit Gars here time to scram kid!"
I laughed-I mean we laughed and then zipped the bag up and then got the remote and threw it into the tv before going to the a back window and shattered it.We looked behind me before we heard the door open forcefully and I bolted for it. We ran so fast, faster then normal and hid behind a tree in the forest. We were far from the house at that point then we looked around and smiled.
"We're free T!"
We silently laughed and cried tears of joy
"Hahahah we sure are kid!"
We then stood up and looked around
"Well time to start a new adventure!"
And we began to walk off.

(Events take place after Gar breaks open the door)
Carol perspective
When Eugene broke open the door the house was a mess. The fridge was wide open and glass was spilled on the floor, my food I was making was missing. The tv was broken in and a window was broken open. I went into the bathroom and the mirror was cracked. The brushes and toothpaste and toothbrushes were all gone.
"Oh my god."
I had been in shock when I looked over to Eugene he was looking around furiously for anything like clues.
I can't believe..."
he then looked at me and I just slowly broke down and ran to him crying
"Let it out Carol....let it out."
He then took me to the couch and I began sobbing
"Want me to call the others?"
I nodded and he did.
(30 minuets laters)
"HE WHAT?!" "Y-yeah."
When the three kids arrived they reacted the same as me, but with no breakdowns, and I began to explain to everyone what happened
"I can't believe that all happened."
Enid said shocked
"And ko especially."
Dendy was wide eyed looking at the floor, I can tell she was in shock
"But why would the little dude do that he was happy and all not too long?"
Rad said crushing a piece of glass with his shoe I winced and then I sighed
"Well something personal was going on that's why..."
I looked away and I can tell Gar didn't believe any of it. He then realized something
"Do you have your phone with you carol?"
"I did it was in my-"
I then immediately went in my room and opened it and saw it for the first time since everything. The drawers were all opened and I noticed my jewelry, my emergency pocket knife  and I looked at where I last had my phone it was gone. I panicked then realized my wallet too and ran to the kitchen
"Nonononononono..."
and my wallet was gone where I left it I then looked at the floor my hands in my hair then at them
"He took them."
"WHAT?!"
They all looked shocked
"Ko took everything valuable I had!"
I hit the wall and cried they all began to run to me and help me to the couch
"Don't worry carol will find him."
Dendy said I saw she was serious and determined
"We'll all find him!"
Enid said and they all nodded and I just smiled
"T-Thank Y-y-you."
I found a new light of hope.
