Chapter two: Love You

Carol perspective
It was 11 when I got the call that my son was missing and I immediately felt my mother instincts kick in. Sure my boy was 18 but I loved him and I wanted him back home safe.
I put on my robe and slippers and immediately ran out. The rain hit me immediately and I ran even more to avoid getting wet. Dammit.
I went inside the car and called Gar and explained everything he agreed to meet me at the bodega and I drove all the way without stops.
I ran in the store and immediately shivered. Boy I hope I don't get a cold. I saw Gar in the break room with his hands on his temples and glasses on the table. I folded my arms and and my legs, I smiled, even as both grew he still acted the same sometimes.
"Hey Gene." "Oh uh-uh..."
he put his glasses on and blushed furiously and I giggled
"Well we are here for the same reason aren't we?" "Uh-yeah f-for Ko?"
I nodded with sadness
"(Sigh) gonna be tough for a while finding him ya know?" "Yeah."
He looked down and I moved to him
"So," "so..." "how you've been lately?" "Me? Oh...uh-good."
I gave him the look and he sighed and took off his glasses and put his left hands in both temples
"Not good lately, I mean...I've been having flashbacks of the good days lately when..." "we were a team?"
He looked at me and nodded I gave him a sad smile
"Me too Gene...me too."
He then looked down
"I was the one that caused us to retire it all Carol."
I looked at him in disbelief
"What? I mean-yeah you messed up by not letting us get to laserblast but that's the good outcome." "HOW?!"
He hit his hand on the table and I looked at him taking a step back
"Gene."
A tear fell down and I looked at him. He was crying.
"If I-I didn't do t-that we would've been st-still a team!"
I looked at him and then smiled
"But we still are a team."
He looked at me and I put a hand on his back
"How?" "You still are part of the team and so am I even thought we aren't in point we still are in a team,"
I playfully hit him
"And a pretty badass one at that!"
He and I laughed then he put a hand on my hand
"Thank you carol." "Hey I am still here for you."
He then looked at our hands then I did as well and then he came closer and closer I just stood there. Eight years when we began to talk more and put our past aside. It was all worth this moment.
Our lips met and he put a hand on my hair and I put my hands on his shoulder. We continued and it began to intense. We moved and hit the table his glasses falling and then we moved to the couch I laid as he was bent and he began to go to my neck and from there it was...a new feeling... a feeling I haven't felt for someone since laser.

Enid perspective
We were driving to the bodega Rad, Dendy and me we were all worried sick once the word that ko was attacked and I got Rad and Dendy I sped but not to much because of the damn rain so I tried to concentrate but Rad was changing the frickin radio every 2 minuets
"Grrrrrr STOP THAT RAD!" "SORRY BUT I AM PRETTY DAMN BORED!"
Dendy was in the back right corner on her phone with red puffy eyes and I felt bad for her. Ko was the most important thing to her and he was taken from her. Not literally but still...ouch.
We made it to the bodega and ran in we stopped when we heard a thud from the back. We all froze and Rad looked scared, sweating and shaking but Dendy looked determined I just hit Rad and was about to shout when we heard thudding and I gave him a shush and we three walked to the back quiet as possible.
"Break room." Rad whispered and we all hid and heard a moan we all looked at each other then away to the door we went to duck so nobody can see us I did a quick look and gasped.
I immediately went back down and immediately motioned to the cash register. Where they couldn't hear us.
When we got there I sat criss cross and stared blankly.
"What happened"
Rad was asking a bit rudely but still-wow.
"Um-uh-well..."
I trailed off blushed Dendy got it she was blushing too. Rad however being the dumb dumb didn't know what was happening.
"(Sigh) they were doing the woo-ha ok!"
Rad face fell and looked away
"Ok ok! Well let's leave them be and come back Tom-I mean in the morning."
I looked at my phone, 2:44 am. I got up and the three of us ran off to the car and drove off.
Well let's hope in the morning we find the squirt fast.
