After who knows how long, I was put on the floor of a room and the blindfold was removed. I had to squint to adjust to the light. I looked around and saw that there was a chair and a weird machine in the middle of the large, very open room.
"Now Ms.-"
"Jenn. My name is Jenn Adams." I snapped at the man.
"Okay, Ms. Adams, do you know who we are or what we do?"
"Umm...no, not really."
"Alright, well then this shouldn't take long."
I wasn't sure what he was talking about, until I was forced into the chair. The men strapped me down and attached some wires to my temple. I looked to my right and saw a man in a white lab coat walk towards me with a small rectangular box.
"Ms. Adams,what I am going to do is inject a truth serum into your body."
What?! Inject? Truth serum? I though to myself. My heart was racing so fast I swear it was heading down to my stomach. Then, a sharp pain shot through my body.
"Don't worry. This is only to ensure that you are not lying." the guy in the lab coat said to me.
"Who are you?" I asked sleepily, for the serum had made me a little sleepy and dizzy.
"Well Ms. Adams, my name is Dr. Andrew Sterling. I am a chemical engineer here at Black Box Corporations."
Then everything went black.
