-a few days later-
We just got back home and I have major jet lag. Luckily, school was a little more than half-way over.
I went to my room and went straight to sleep cause I still had to wake up for school tomorrow.
-next morning-
I woke up to my alarm clock blaring. I was so close to throwing it out the window. But that would mean buying a new one.
I got up and got dressed then ran down the stairs. I looked at my watch and noticed that I still had plenty of time to get to school. So, with the spare time, I was able to make myself some toast with Nutella.
I put plate in the sink and made my way to school.
-flash foward to 4th period-
I walked in and sat down but not before noticing Jack, who I hadn't seen since the incident, sitting in his seat.
"Ok everyone sit down!" Mr. Vincent said. "Today I am going to give you guys a partner project that will be due one week from today."
Everyone in the class started talking to friends to see who would partner with who. I had no friends in this class so I didn't react.
Mr. Vincent whistled and everyone stopped talking.
"I didn't finish. I will be assigning partners." You could hear groans ringing through the room.
"I know, i know. You wanted to be with your friends. But that is the point of this assignment. It is almost the end of the year. And you don't know anything about your classmates."
"So the partners are: Claire and Scott, James and Kyle, Jack and Jenn..." he continued to list names but I zoned out after he said I was partners with Jack.
Before I could say anything to Jack, the bell rang for lunch.
I got up and left to go meet up with Allie and Ryan.
-skip to end of day-
I got home and immediately went upstairs to do homework. That is the last thing I remember before fell asleep.
