I woke up and I saw that I was still in the white room, strapped to a chair.
"Wait where am I?" I asked out loud.
"Black Box Corporation." The man in the lab coat who I remembered as Dr. Sterling, said.
"What's Black Box?"
"It's a secret headquarters that is disguised as a medicine company." Dr. Sterling said with a smile.
"Oh ok. Then what am I doing here?"
"Well, we are going to ask you a few simple questions. Alright?" He said calmly.
"Uh I guess." I replied uncertainly.
"Ok first question. How did you find this headquarters?"
"I-uh I followed Jack to the janitor's closet at the school."
"Ok do you know what we do?"
"No."
"Ok that will be all. Thank you for your cooperation. And just forget what you saw and don't tell anyone about this."
And with that, the men untied me from the chair. They flanked me on either side as they led me to a door that somehow led to the gymnasium of the school. Luckily, there was no one there.
I walked out of the gym and towards my locker. Taking a look at my watch, I saw that I had missed 3 periods so there was only 8th period left.
"Jenn!" I turned around and saw Allie and Ryan run up to me.
"Where have you been? You missed 3 periods today!" Allie said, clearly out of breath.
Uh-oh think Jenn. I thought, my heart starting to race.
"I-I uh... Was in the bathroom." I lied.
"For 3 periods? I doubt it. " Allie stated.
"Yeah I wasn't feeling too well." I said.
Before Allie could respond, the bell rang for 8th pd.
We walked into class and there was no sign of Jack. Oh well he probably skipped class or something.
*Skip to after school*
I had just gotten to my house when I see a moving truck in the driveway of the house next door. I slowly put my backpack on my porch as I watched a man and a woman walk in and out of the house carrying boxes. As I non-creepily watched them, I spot a guy that looks around my age exit the house.
He turns towards me and notices me looking at him. He smirks. I feel my cheeks grow bright red.
He walks over to the fence that separates our houses.
"Hi there." He says with a smile.
