Adaptation: mountains
Description: purple, heavy, armoured scales cover head and back; blue wing membranes and spine sail; flame-coloured frill on head and tail; blue or purple eyes; spine sail along neck and chest; no front legs
Abilities: - can breathe fire - colour on frills as it does, once the colour is gone it can no longer breathe fire, has to wait for the colour to recharge in the sun (takes about an hour) - powerful hind legs adapted to carry large and very heavy prey (Rocklings)
Vocals: • loud, echoing roar
Social: Solitary, pair up during mating season, don't try to keep the partner after the young have grown
