Perrie

"Where is my contract?" I ask Paul when he walks past me. "Don't you have it yet?" Paul says, his forehead scrunched up. "Well, I wouldn't be asking you where it is if I already have it, would I?" I tell him, raising a brow. "I mean, the girls already have theirs and I still don't have mine." I add, putting my hands on my waist. "What?!" Paul says in disbelief. "The girls have had theirs for two days now and mine still hasn't been delivered. And their contracts arrived at the same time." I tell him, my frustration getting to me.

"Are you sure Feyre didn't sneak it in or something?" Jesy asks me. "I looked everywhere, and the only delivery that's been sent to my house is pizza." I tell her. I have been waiting for my contract for two days now and it still hasn't arrived. The girl's contracts have been signed already and It only makes my frustration grow more. I can't go on with our projects without signing my contract and we have so much work to do.

"Wait, I'll call management." Paul says, fishing his phone out of his pocket. I slump on the couch beside Leigh and tap my foot on the ground. I watch Paul as he paces back and forth, talking to management on the phone. "Pez, they said they already had it sent along with the others." Paul says, walking back to us.

"Well, at least we know that there really is a contract for you." Leigh said. "Yeah, I guess. But where is it?!" I blurt out. The delivery guy couldn't have possibly lost it along the way. That's right. The delivery guy. "Maybe the delivery guy got it wrong?" I tell Paul. He nods his head and looks around on the papers. "You're probably right." He says. "This the delivery company." He hands me a piece of paper with a number on it.

I dial the number and wait for someone to answer to my call. "Hello?" I say, sighing in relief. "Ehm, this Perrie Edwards. I'm calling about a package that never got to me. It's suppose to arrive two days ago." I tell him. He puts me on hold for a while as he checks the files and I stand up and start pacing the room. "What do you mean, there's no Edwards?" I say, the girls giving me a confused look.

"Edwards Oxlade-Chamberlain? Yeah, that's it." I say, breathing out. The girls give me a look and I just brush it off. "What?!" I say, my heart starting to race. I give the girls a look as I enter the spare room, concealing my conversation on the phone. "What do you mean your delivery guy delivered it to the wrong Oxlade-Chamberlain?" I say, gripping the edge of the desk beside me. "So, you're meaning to tell me that my package has been delivered to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain? In Liverpool?" I slowly say, letting the words sink in. Oh great. "I'm so sorry ma'am we--" I cut the guy on the phone off and ended the call. Why is this happening to me? Why is fate trying to push my buttons?

I come out of the room with a defeated look. "So?" Jade asks me. I look at Paul for a while, trying to think of a better solution. "Uhm, can't you get me another contract?" I ask, hopeful that he'd say yes. "I don't think I can. Simon is already out of town and it's going to take ages to get you another one with all those certifications." Paul says, making my heart drop to the pit of my stomach. Shit.

"So where is it?" Jade asks again. I take a seat and release a deep breath. "It's in Liverpool with my ex-husband who's actually still my husband." I say, giving all of them a look. "Oh." Leigh manages to say. "Well, he's technically not an ex since you're still married to him." Jade says, making a point. "Shush it. I know that." I glare at her and she snickers. I cover my face with palms and prop my elbows on my knees. "Well, you have to call him." Jesy says. I know Jes, stop rubbing it in.

"I don't even know his number. The one I have is from three years ago an--" I got cut off when Leigh shoves my phone into my hand. "Just call it, Pez. Maybe he didn't change it." Leigh says. I let out a breath and sighed as I rang the number. Please don't ring. Please don't ring. Please---- "It's ringing." I say, my heart beating a little faster.  Jesy gives me a look lowkey saing 'I told you'.
