Perrie
"Mam!"
My heart drops to the pit of my stomach. Feyre comes running over and clings around my leg. I felt my hands clam, my cold sweat trickling down. I look at Alex and he was staring at her as she hugged my leg, rubbing her eyes. He turns his attention back to me all I could see was a mixture of confusion and shock all over his face.
I turn around and see Claud with an apologetic look on his face. "I'm so sorry, Perrie. She woke up and was asking for you." Claud said, running his hand over his arm. I nod at him and force out a smile. "It's fine, Claud." I say. I look at the girls and they all had surprised expressions on their faces. I gave them a look and then gave out a subtle smile, a form of encouragement.
"Perrie." Alex says, looking straight at me. I look at him and my heart feels like it's about to drill a hole out of my chest. "Mam. Up." Feyre says, her tiny voice somehow calming me. She reaches up for me and I pick her up and prop her on my hip. "Hey, baby." I say, my voice shaking. "Mummy, no fight. No fight, mummy." She says, shaking her head and waving her finger around. I let out a soft chuckle, stroking her hair.
I look at Alex and he was looking at us intently. He was staring directly at Feyre, studying her every move. "No, baby. We weren't fighting, baby. He and mummy were just talking." I say, giving emphasis on the word mummy. I give Alex a look as I slowly walk towards him. "Mummy, wants you to meet someone really special." He looks at me with a confused look, his eyes anticipating.
"Alex." I say, turning to him. I look at him as realization starts to dawn over him, his eyes widening. "Oh my God." He says, running a hand over his mouth as his eyes starts to glisten. "This is Feyre, she's your daughter." I say with a shaky breath. "Hey, Feyre." He says, his voice cracking as he takes Feyre's hand. My eyes get filled with tears as I see a tear cascade down his cheek. "Hallo." Feyre says, staring at Alex with her big blue eyes. He chuckles, sucking in a breath as he rubs his thumb over Feyre's hand. "Hi." He breathes out.
I wipe a tear away and look at Feyre. "Do you know who this is?" I ask, Feyre. She shakes her head and looks back at Alex. "This is daddy." I say, my voice cracking as I point to Alex. "Oh my God." Alex breathes out, running his hand over his face and wiping his tears. Feyre seems to study him, letting the new information sink in. Slowly, a smile crawls over her face and she reaches for Alex. "Dada!" She squeals, and my heart melts.
I pass her over to Alex and he takes her in his arms. At that moment, he let all his tears out as Feyre wraps her arms around his neck. He hugs her close, his other hand on the back of her head. He kisses the side of her head, leaning his head over hers. "Yeah, I'm dada." He says, smoldering her with soft kisses. "I'm dada." He whispers, his tears falling down.
My heart melts as I marvel at the moment in front of me. I can't believe I'm seeing this. They were finally together. Feyre just finally met her dad. I let my tears fall as I watch them, the happiness I'm feeling for both of them is beyond measures. I look around and saw that everyone in the room was crying as well. The girls, the mixmen, even Paul.
"Dada, no cry." Feyre says as she pulls back, wiping Alex tears with her small hands. "No cry, mam." She says, looking at me. I chuckle and wipe my tears away. "No more." I say. She giggles and squeals, pointing to the other people on the room. She waves her finger, shaking her head. "Uncle Paul, no cry! Auntie Jeed, Auntie Jesy, Auntie Leigh-Leigh, no cry." They all chuckle and wipe their faces.
