"Goodbye Mrs. Peakenis." Louis shouted loudly to his caretaker and ran to his mother.
"Hi mummy." He extended his hand for Jay to take which she did.
"How was your day baby?"
"Pretty good, can I play with Hazzy mummy?" Jay grinned while nodding. Louis is a tiny hurricane most of the times but as soon as Harry is around, the 6-year-old settles down and suddenly has all the patience in the world.
At first Jay was a little reluctant as a tiny kid shouldn't be allowed to play with a baby without supervision, Louis was obsessed with the tiny boy since he was born and he actually took care of him very well which wasn't normal for him even when he was a toddler himself.
He couldn't look after his own toys but as soon as the tiny lad was there Louis' undivided attention was on him. Louis spent a lot of his time going over to Anne's with his mum so while the adults watched them Louis always rocked him to sleep.
He let him to bit his fingers and suckle on them when he was teething. He helped with feeding him and the list goes on. Now Harry was already 3 years old so Anne and Jay trusted them to not make any mess if they're left alone.
Harry was just starting to talk in half sentences and running around while Louis made sure he wouldn't get hurt.
Finally Jay stopped the car and Louis started to unbuckle himself right away, springing out of the seat and running towards the front door, knocking viciously. Anne soon opened the door and Louis run past her straight away.
"Hi Anny." The mums were left to stare at the empty corridor as Louis was long gone and in the living room where Harry was playing on the carpet.
"Hi baby Hazzy."
"Ouii...Louiiiiiiii." Harry made grabby hands right away, his eyes shining brightly from seeing the fluffy-haired boy.
"Hi baby. How's my favourite little one doing?"
"Good, miss Ouii so lot." Louis giggled adorably and let Harry climb onto his lap.
"What are we playing?" Harry showed Louis what he was building and they started to create a castle together from the cubes. Harry mostly ruined it and the cubes were pretty wet from him putting them into his mouth but Louis thought he was precious so he didn't mind.
Jay and Anne were talking in the kitchen idly, making some cookies together when they heard loud crying, both of them recognising Harry's voice immediately. They walked to the living room to check on the boys and see if they are alright.
"I know Hazzy, it's okay don't cry I'll make you a better one. Watch baby." They smiled at Louis starting to build again while Harry stopped his tantrum and stared entranced how their building was standing again.
Harry giggled loudly and swept the whole thing away while guiding Louis' hand into his mouth, sucking on his thumb. The mothers walked back to the kitchen, seeing that no one was injured and got back to talking.
Soon the lads emerged wanting cookies. Louis was holding Harry's tiny hands in his palms, so he wouldn't run into the room and fall on accident.
"It's almost done my babies." Anne smiled at them whilst Louis helped Harry up to a chair then seated himself as well.
"Can we go to the park after?"
Harry started clapping seemingly liking the idea so they all agreed. Anne ended up packing the cookies and they started to walk. Anne put Harry into his carriage and let Louis walk between her hands. He could barely reach the bar as of right now but that never stopped him.
They soon got to the park so Anne got Harry out and placed him into a swing that was for toddlers.
Louis started to push Harry while their mums walked to sit on a bench nearby. They made sure that their kids are good but like always Louis took all the care in the world to not push Harry too high and that no one comes near them.
"Boys come and have some cookies." Louis stopped the swing making Harry whine for him to continue.
"Do you want to eat some cookies baby?" Louis watched as Harry thought it through only to nod firmly and threw his hand out for Louis to take him.
He really wasn't light anymore but Louis still managed to lift him out of the seat and place him onto the ground.
"Come on little one." Louis linked their hands and led Harry to the bench that was occupied by Anne and Jay.
Louis took a cookie and broke off a tiny piece feeding it to Harry who waited with his mouth open. Then Louis also took a bite until their entire cookie was gone.
"Can we go and play some more?" Anne nodded so Louis led Harry back to the playground and they started to play on the slide, going down together again and again.
A/N: So with this the 'odd' part of the book is done if you will. The next chapter will be a lot longer and you know...normal.
As a side note I 'warned' in the previous chapter that this will be beyond fluffy and I meant that to their relationship which you'll start seeing in the next chapter but the story itself will have its moments.
Also I have no idea if that's common or not but my nephew always suckled on our fingers when he was teething and still does it sometimes even though his teeth our out so just go with that bit...kids are strange little creatures.
Anygays hope you guys will have a wonderful week!
All the love, xx
Ps: This week I'm technically buried with studying whilst my finals will start up next week. I know that it's different in other countries but here we take education a little too seriously if you ask me so we actually have our semesters split in two and now I'm entering the everso dreaded exam season which will last till february (I do wish to get my exams done before that but you can just never know), also this doesn't mean that I wasn't required to pass a test every single week to even have the chance and be able to take said exams...now I'm just rudely complaining soz about that. What my aim here is to let you guys know that I'll do my absolute best to keep a good schedule for this book (obviously not everyday I posted this to get it out of the way and it was all short and sweet) but I'll try to update at least once a week but my next week will be the toughest so please bear with me.
