Chapter 7- The Danger Begins

I walked onto the boat. My father had the idea to send me off to find good trade routes. He mostly wanted to setup trade with England and China but also decided for France and Spain. I met all the crew aboard the ship and noticed one guy was suspicious. He had a sword like most of the rest of the crew but his had the Avoelam royal family crest on it. I wondered if it might of been a gift or he stole it. Another thing I found strange was his voice. It sounded like a female voice.
He wasn't as suspicious as his brother though. This guy had a hood hiding his face and instead of a sword he had a gun. When I talked to him he didnt seem to like me very much. In fact it sounded like he wanted to kill me. I was cautious around him.
I then met the captain who seemed happy to have me aboard the ship. He made sure I knew it would be a safe trip. He showed me around a little and treated me well. It was about half an hour before we actually started to sail off.
When it got to night, I stood by the railings of the boat and watch the stars. It was a nice night. "Like the stars?" a voice said from behind me. I looked and it was the brother of the guy with the royal crest sword.
"There nice." I replied. I thought he had gone down to check on the food supply.
"Well I guess it is a good night..." he said, he said something else under his breath but I couldn't hear it. He came up next to me and watched the stars.
I looked back up at the stars as he pulled out his gun. I didnt notice until he shot it. Luckily his brother had come and pushed the gun so it was aimed in the air. He told me to run and and so I did...
