I was going to go work out.
I was ready.
But my friend and a few girls with her stopped me.
"Hey! Would you like to go to the meeting with us?"
"Yeah, it's like a Bible class."
"Sure."
I followed them to the meeting.
We sat towards the back of the lecture room.
A pleasant man talked about trees and fruit,
Yet I couldn't keep my gaze off a particular guy in the front row.
Attraction was at is highest level.
Love at first sight perhaps.
So, once it was over I casually followed this mystery guy out.
I watched him go with his friends to the cafeteria,
And as my gaze was fixed on that sight I dropped the glass water bottle that I carried with me.
Clash!
Glass shattered all over the ground.
At least it was darker than twilight, or he would have seen me when he turned around once the crash was heard.
"I'm sorry."
"Oh, you don't have to apologize. I do things like that all the time," said my friend.
Then some guys crowded around us, and one of them said,
"We'll need to call security."
So yeah. Obviously I got security called on me,
But, it wasn't my fault;
It was his.
