Pete's POV
When I look up at Lauren, she's smiling big. Then she looks up to the stairs, motions down, then giggles. I stand up with the roses and watch as Lauren moves down the stairs and Emily follows. I catch my breath. Emily looks absolutely amazing. She stands two steps in front of me, smiling shyly." um, you look amazing. And these are for you..." I say handing her the bouquet. Her eyes go wide and she covers her mouth." thank you, pete. You don't look too bad yourself." she's giggles, smelling the roses. Her laugh is incredible. " Are you ready to go?" I ask softly, admiring her eyes. I watch as her lashes fall with every blink. Enchanting. She nods, hands Lauren the roses, picks up her purse then grabs my hand and out the door we go.
Her soft hands fit mine perfectly. I smile like never before when she giggles again. I open her door for her, then walk around to mine. Once I start the car, Blink 182 " all the small things" comes on. We buckle up then start to drive off.
