I couldn't believe they had made me hump a table. I couldn't even look at these people in the eye. Every time I did, I went scarlet and babbled and stumbled, embarrassing me somewhere. Specially with Especially Neal. He was a total jerk. He was the one who had come after me after I had ran from the cafe and instead of .. sympathizing he had winked and laughed.

"Superman was my favorite hero." He had whispered and then laughed some more. I hated his guts, idiotic jack-ass. It was like the most embarrassing moment in my life! God knows what made me wear it. I was finally happy to be alone in the cabin and swallow my broken pride. God, this was a mess. I put my hands in my hands and tried to make the tears go away. What were they thinking? Bullying me like this? I still had my face in my hands, rested against my table when a hand touched my neck.

"Whoaa!" I shrieked and jumped back.

"Hey, it's just me!" Neal said, his hands raised.

"Jesus Christ, you scared me." I whispered and my tears over-flowed. I was a freak, whenever I was angry, I cried. It was genetic and something that I totally hated.

"What? Wh.." He saw my lips wobble but I didn't wait for him, I ran to the washroom and banged the door shut.

I stood there feeling more ridiculous as ever and waited to be in control.

There was a banging on the door and I jumped back.

"Open the damn door, Summer." Neal shouted.

"One..minute." I said and then washed my face repeatedly.

"Summer, open it or I'll come in." He shouted through the door. God, he was so arrogant.

"It's the girls washroom." I shouted back and the banging stopped. Ha, take that.

I held the cold water to my face when I heard the door'knob fiddling.

"I'm coming in." Neal shouted again and I saw the lady beside me give me a weird look. Oh, my God!

I ran to the door and pushed it open.

"Oooouch." I heard a wail and when I peeked out I saw a jumping Neal, holding his nose. Oh heck, the door hit him!

"Oh, my God, I'm so sorry." I said frantically and tried to get his hand away from his nose.

"A..aa.aa..aaa..a...a.a..a.a.a." He was shrieking and his eyes were watering. Oh lord, I had hit him! His nose was probably bleeding because of me. I was a lousy idiot.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." I said repeatedly, feeling miserable while I held his nose between a napkin and took him to the cabin. I made him sit on the chair and finally released my hold.

"There's nothing wrong with it!" I said and Neal smiled.

"Yep, well. I had to get you out somehow." He said, winkingly.

"Ah, you creep! I thought I hurt you!" I shouted and at that moment the desire to hit him was bursting through me.

"I'm not THAT fragile, Summer. It was just a door." He said and then shrugged. Oh, my Lord, I had to get outta here before I really did make him bleed. I took a deep breath, turned around and started walking.

"Where are you going?" Neal demanded and then he took my wrist and yanked me back.

I landed in his lap.

"What are you doooing?" I spueled and tried to get up but he pulled me again and then his arms went around me.

"Now stop struggling. I just wanna talk." Neal said and I froze in place. My head snapped up to meet his and like deja vu the sensation I had felt when I had first looked in his fathomless green eyes came rushing back. The world fell away and it was only me and him.

"Your hearts thunderbeating." Neal said, looking amused.

"It's the .. anger." I choked out and he grinned. What was happening to me? My heart beating wildly was definitely NOT the anger. It was .. Neal. The close proximity between us. The way I felt in his arms.

"You're going red." He whispered in my ear and I shot out of his lap like a meteor.

"What do you wanna talk about?" I got out in a rush and his grin widened.

"I wanted to ask why you were crying?" Oh now he wanted to know that, huh.

"Like you cannot guess." I clipped back. Wow, that was a first.

"Come on, Summer! They were just having fun! I mean you can take it in a positive way." He said and I held up my head in defiance.

"I know and I did. I was crying because it was embarrassing." I told him and then I walked over to my desk and sat down.

"What are you sitting down for? It's almost time to go home." Neal said and cheekily tapped his watch.

"I know but I have extra work to do since I came in late, today." Life sucks. I was going to sit here all alone and think about why I was acting weirdly.

"Oh. So you're keeping me company, huh. Naice." Neal said, almost talking to himself but I was shocked.

"You're staying?" I asked dumbly. Oh God, no. Anything more in this man's company will drive me insane. Imagining sitting in this cabin huddled in chair in front of him was making me dread every moment.

"I got nothing better to do." He said and shrugged again.

After that we didn't talk for whole two hours. He did his work and I did mine. We were quite and lost in our own thoughts.

"Come on, Summer. We've had enough. Time to go." Neal said and I nodded. I was dead-beat and dreading a bus-ride. We walked to the life together, quite again, it was kinda awkward, actually. I gave him little side-glances but he was looking ahead the whole time. I had pressed the button of the life to take us down when he finally spoke up.

"Look, Summer. I'm sorry on everybody's behalf about what they did, but they didn't know you'll be upset and we didn't want to hurt your feelings. Seriously. So have no hard-feelings and lets part as friends." I was a little shocked by the apology but I saw how genuinely he wanted to make it right, I was touched by that and I had to admit when he was confused he looked cuter that ever.

I smiled and was about to babble happily when the lift gave a jerk.

"What was that?" I shrieked and saw Neal hold onto his side rail.

"Oh shit." He exclaimed when the life gave another jerk.

"Neal!" What was happening? The lift gave another jerk and then everything went black.
