Trials- A Kuroo T. X Reader(please look at most recent chapter before starting)

Rivers Flow- 6

      You woke up in the morning to the sound a someone knocking on your door. You get out of bed in your extra extra large t shirt and shorts. When you open the door you freak out because it's Kuroo. You rub your eyes. You look up at him and he is dressed pretty causally. This is the first time you've seen him in anything but his uniform or volleyball gear. He looks even cuter, you think... No don't think that Y/N, you mentally slap yourself.
Kuroo stutters, " D- Do- Do you wanna change?" You look at him confused but that's when you remember it looks like your wearing no pants. You slam the door shut on his face and run up the stairs. Halfway up you slap yourself again and run back down to unlock the door. You used the Handel and opened it an inch then blasted away.
You quickly put on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt from a place your dad visited on one of his trips only to find Kuroo in the kitchen pouring you a bowl of cereal.
You walk towards him. Without making any eye contact you say, " Ah what are you doing?" You snatch the cereal box from him but it's no use because he already made the cereal bowl.
" I knew you just woke up so that means you didn't eat." He shrugs his shoulder and hands you the bowl, " Eat, and then we'll leave."
" I'm not even a fan of cereal." You lie.
He laughs then smiles, " Then why does this box say ' Property of Y/N do not touch or you will be killed' I think that's a bit much for someone who 'doesn't like cereal'." He pushes the cereal bowl closer to you. It was your favorite cereal and he was right... you took it from him and pulled out a spoon. You began to eat it and you didn't notice at first but Kuroo was staring at you.
You looked up from your bowl to find Kuroo smirking. You make a 'what' expression.
" Nothing it's just you listened to me."
You groan, " Well of course I did... I didn't want you to annoy me." You take another bite.
" Do I annoy you?" He asks while making a puppy face.
You take the last bite of your cereal and push the bowl towards him and swallow. " Done." You say.
He smiles and puts the bowl in the sink. " So I was thinking we could go into the city today?" He says grabbing his keys. You follow him towards the door and shake your head.
" No, you said we would go to your house." You stop in place.
He turns around on the steps of your house, " Well yeah after when I change for practice." He smiles and offers you his hand. You begin to blush but don't accept it because it felt weird to you. You gave him a smile and continued to walk to the car.
   He walks on to the passenger side ahead of you and opens the door for you. Kuroo gestures for you to sit down and smiles. He closes the door and walks around the front side of the car. Kuroo made you blush so when he entered the car he made a flirty face.
     " So to the city?" You say to break the silence.
    He smiles, " Yeah, you have anything specific you want to do today?" He asks you.
    You think for a few seconds and shake your head. " Well no... I thought we were going to your house."
     He starts the car, " Well I have an idea." He goes on and on about todays potential and you keep on smiling because  he's so excited about today.
    A half an hour passed before you arrived at the city. He parks his car in one of the public garages so that you two can walk around. You and Kuroo walk down the stairs and make it to the streets. You look up at Kuroo who was already staring at you. You blush even more when he smiled. Do I like him? You think to yourself. This is the first time any attractive guy made me feel this way... or any guy in fact. Kuroo starts to walk but you didn't notice so you were left standing there thinking in place. Kuroo turns around and laughs. " Hey, Y/N! Don't make me hold your hand." He says a few feet away. You walk towards him embarrassed not giving him any eye contact. He stops and waits for you to catch up and once you do he grabs your hand and starts running.
" Kuroo! Where are we going? And why are we running?" You tell as your feet try to keep up with Kuroo.
" Do you trust me." Kuroo asks running with his grip on your hand. He stares at you and reply with a blank expression, " Do you trust me? y/n." He asks again.
You stay silent for a few second until he looks back again, " Yes." You say seriously at first. " Yes." You start to laugh. Your heart is beating so fast and you can't feel your legs but it feels so right that you want it to go on forever.
Kuroo smiles and turns his head forward while still holding your hand as you both make a turn heading towards a small forest preserve in the outskirts of the city.
Once you make it to The greenery of the forest he stops and waits for the both of you to catch your breaths.
Breathing heavily you ask, " What are we doing here?" You say as you put your hands on your knees.
" Remember how I asked you if you trusted me... just keep that in mind okay?"
You look up at his dark brown eyes and smile. He looks back down at you it stays that way for a few minutes. How could this man be the captain of a volleyball team? You ask yourself. He's to fun and outgoing and not at all what you would expect from a captain... not even just a captain for a regular team but a powerhouse school.
" You ready?" Kuroo asks you.
You nod your head and he grabs your hand again but instead of going on the path he leads you to the overgrown vines and weeds to the side.
" Be careful and follow my steps okay?"
    " Okay." After a half of an hour of walking kuroo slows his pace down.
    " Almost there.. I promise."
    " Hey Kuroo... What is this place?" You ask him pushing a tree branch out of your way.
     " It's important to me... and it's a secret only two others know about." He says. After that a few minutes pass when you notice the overgrown grass and vines give away to reveal a small stream and overall beautiful area. It was small and confined but it was beautifully abandoned by society. Kuroos eyes gaze at the large rocks in front of the stream and grabs your arm again and leads you up the tall rocks.
    " Kuroo...." you pause and take in the scenery, " This place, it's beautiful." You smile and look at him.
    He squeezes your hand tighter but focuses his gaze on the streams current.
    " Yeah... it really is beautiful but there's another why I brought you here." He says giving his gaze to you.
    " What is it?" You ask Kuroo.
    He took a deep breath. " I know you get anxiety and overwhelmed a lot and I don't know and I will never know what that will feel like but whenever I come here I get this sensation that anything and everything I'm going through right now it's going to to be okay," he pauses, " I want you to always feel that... so maybe when your overwhelmed next time just remember what you felt like here... and maybe just maybe it will help." You eyes start to tear up. You are filled with a feeling you never felt before and you realize the more your with Kuroo the more things you never felt before you feel.
    " Kuroo, I-"
    " Y/N... I care for you." He smiles with watery eyes. " A lot."
     Your heart starts to flutter and something overcomes your mind and takes control of your body and you reach up and kiss Kuroo. The kiss was sweet but quick. Your face is left red while Kuroo looked surprised.
    " Kuroo I... thank you for this... I... care for you too." You smile. You notice you start to cry and quickly wipe away your tears.
     " Y/N..." Kuroos smiles. " you're to cute." He smirks. He grabs a near by dandelion and gently drops it into the water below the both of you. Both of your eyes stare as the dandelion is taken away by the current and disappears into the forest.
    You and Kuroo stayed there for a few hours laughing and playing on the rocks and grass until lunch came around and you both went back home to Kuroo's.
    " What do you want me to make?" Kuroo asks you.
    You look at him with shocked eyes, " You cooking? Never thought I would hear that in my life." You laugh. " What can you make?" You ask him.
    " What can't I make!" He cockily says with his big smile.
   " No but seriously, just surprise me." You say. You turn the radio up and listen to the music on the radio. " Mind if I put my phone in your Aux?" You ask.
    Kuroo think for a few moments but he eventually says yes. Both of you jam out until you arrive home and Kuroo starts to cook a late lunch.
