I shift in the bed as my phone alarm beings to sound. Slowly but surely I roll out of my bed.
"Can we just get room service?" Maddie asks squinting her eyes at the light that is sneaking through the through the window curtains blinds her.
"Definitely, I'm exhausted." I agree turning on the tv to the local morning show. I don't know what program exactly it is but I do just love finding out what's going on around town. Parades that are happening and just fun Australian news. I reach over to the nightstand and grab the menu for room service. I decide to order some blueberry pancakes and a Cappuccino. Maddie then picks out her order and calls down for both us to put it in.
I slowly get out of bed and open up the blinds all the way letting the light shine through. Then I open up the balcony and let the Adelaide sunshine warm me. Once up I go get changed into a grey ribbed tank and a cute pair of plain burgundy athletic shorts. Cute for just being around as well as for dance.
"Foods here!" Maddie shouts from inside the room.
I peak my head out of the bathroom where I just finished my hair and makeup. "Sweet I'm so hungry." I exit the bathroom to go get my food. Maddie and I take the foot out onto the balcony to eat. It's quite nice and relaxing.
I sip my Cappuccino with my plate of aesthetically pleasing blueberry pancakes in front of me while Maddie wins the award for best friend ever as she takes cute candids of me. I do the same to her and I end up posting a picture of her with my some of my blueberries on her fork. Captioned, She's a blueberry stealer but I still love her berry much! 💙
I tag her to the picture then post it and she even post one of me captioned, BlueBERRY happy on this Adelaide morning with my love @KatieRose
We enjoy the rest of our wonderful meal then finish getting ready. Once we're all ready we stop in our mother's room and hang with them for a bit. Melissa and Amanda are goals. Mom goals. Once we hang for a bit we have to get going and we all walk together next door to the dance studio.
"Do you girls like the duet together?" Melissa asks as the four of us walk down the sidewalk together.
"Yep, we worked on it a lot last night." Maddie answers.
"I saw the clip on Instagram it looked pretty good." My Mom adds.
"Thanks, we worked really hard and I finished learning it last night, then we got it pretty solid." I inform the moms who knew we had worked on the dance last night but I'm not sure about what extent they thought.
"The whole dance?" Melissa and my mom ask a bit shocked.
"Yeah we were working hard yesterday." Maddie nods.
"We worked on the group together too." I add onto Maddie.
"Well Abby is sure going to be happy with you two." My Mom says as she opens the studio door.
"Well we'll hope." Maddie shrugs stepping through the door, "But we know how Abby can get."
Once inside Abby immediately peaks around the corner. "Maddie and Katie." Abby smiles wide, "You're not competing this weekend." Abby states. Maddie and I's eyes grow large looking at Abby like crazy. We worked so hard on our routines last night and she's not going to let us compete? How come?
