I grabbed my iPhone debating whether or not to call Lauren.

8:44 pm, Is what the time read on my home screen...she should be home right now...I thought.

As I heard the ringing from the phone waiting for her to pick up, I walked around in my closet scanning and searching through the clothes.

"Hey." She said into the phone.

"Hey what are you doing?" I asking impatiently.

"Nothing . Why?" She questioned.

"You think we can go shopping?" I Asked.

"Yeah..when?" She questioned again as I kept searching through clothes.

"Um in about 10 or 15 minutes.." I stated.

"What? You wanna go right now???" She asked concerned.

I let out a laugh. "Of course I do, I've just decided that I wanna go to that party. Now get ready and I'll be in your driveway. Ask if you can take Jaceons car." I Said slipping on my black and whites.

"Alright. Bye." She said quickly before hanging up.

"Where are you going?" My mother asked sitting on the couch as she watch me put on a jacket .

"Don't worry about it." I said rolling my eyes.

"Ricardo! Come get your daughter!" My mother yelled in her heavy Spanish accent.

Before she could finish, I already had stormed out of the house. Running all over the lawn, I made my way speed walking on the sidewalk. Her house was 10 houses down from mine.

Finally making my way towards her two story house, I was slightly out of breath as I saw her leaned on the trunk scrolling on her phone.

"Hey." I said breathing in and out.

"You ready?" She asked pulling out her brothers keys from pocket. "Yeah." I replied walking towards the passengers seat.

"How did you get Jaceons car so easily?" I asked as she pulled out of the driveway.

"I just took them off the counter. He'll learn next time not the leave them just anywhere." She smirked.

"Did your parents say anything?"

"Of course." I stated.

After being in the car for 10 minutes taking about what we hoped to find at the mall, we finally pulled up.

We walked into Forever 21 and I went on the search for an edgy looking outfit. If I'm a shy girl, I should Atleast dress like I'm not.

Within 15 minutes I had already found an outfit...

Black ripped jeans with a sweater type shirt that said "B A X" in bold letters. I had a pair navy blue Vans at the house that I planned on wearing with it.

I bought a pair of big gold hoop earrings...

Lauren picked out a bright red crop top with white pants that hugged her body just right with black and white checkered vans.
