"Wow..I can't believe he told you that.." Lauren groaned in awe as we walked down the sidewalk path.

"Yeah.." I agreed back.

There was a silent pause between us for a split second.

"Are you going to the basketball game tomorrow? Lauren asked breaking the silence.

"Yeah..but I don't want to..the only reason I'm going is because Jordan is making me." I sighed.

"Girl, I'm not one to tell you how to live your life...but i don't think you should go out with him."

"I know..I know..I just haven't had the time to tell him my true feelings.."

After I stopped talking to Anthony, Jordan and I would hang out together a lot, but we never made our relationship official because he was too controlling and demanding.

"Well you need to..as soon as possible."

"I'll talk to you later Rose.." she added before walking into to yard.

"Bye." I waved.

"What the fuck have I told you about being late???" Jordan snapped as I got into his car.

"I'm sor-" I started.

"No, just shut up.." he snapped again with agitation.

Today was the last basketball game of the Season and everyone was going to be there. Jordan forced me to go with him even tho I Said I didn't want to. Basketball games were never my thing. They were boring to watch, nobody ever paid attention, and they were super loud and obnoxious...

One of Jordan's hands were in the steering wheel while the other was rubbing his chin.

His eyes glanced quickly on my outfit then went back to the road.

"Why are you wearing that skimpy dress?" He asked.

I didn't say anything.

"AYYY!" He yelled causing me to jump. "I'm talking to you."

"Because I wanted to.." I replied with fear in my voice.

I decided to wear a black skin tight dress that stopped a little bit before my knees with a denim jacket and white Converse.

He blew out a breath of annoyed air shaking his head slightly...

We arrived at the school just in time and the gym was packed. Students were scrambling around on the bleachers, referees and coaches lined the outside of the basketball court and concession stands were parked at the walls.

"Cmon." Jordan said grabbing my hand as he walked up to a group of his friends.

He always acted fake around them when I was with him.

His friends greeted me and we all took a seat at the top. Since Jordan was popular , it was always easy for him to bully other people out of things he wanted.

"Hey babe." He said tapping my thigh. "I'm gonna go buy a drink. Wanna come?"

I nodded my head no with a forced smile.

I sat alone on the bleachers even though there were dozens of other students around me. My eyes scanned around the gym and I realized Lauren wasn't coming. I saw Anthony sitting on the bench on the opposite side of the gym drinking Gatorade. He had on his white basketball outfit with white compression shorts underneath and white basketball shoes. His hair was braided to the scalp which was a surprise.

I waited for Jordan to come back even though getting a drink was an excuse to be elsewhere.

Being lonely, I scrolled on my phone.

"Hey." I heard a voice say startling me.

"Hey." I spoke back.

"Why are you sitting alone?" Anthony asked.

"Because Jordan left me to get a "drink" .." I explained.

"Why you still messin' with that nigga??"

I shrugged my shoulders with shame.
"...should've you be down there playing?" I Asked.

"I still have 15 minutes." He explained.

"I think you should leave..I don't need Jordan coming back assuming things.."

"Nah I think I'll stay."

"No Anthony please stop. You need to get away from me." I said trying to shove him out the seat.

Being too focused on trying to get Anthony away, I didn't notice Jordan was standing right near me.

He coughed trying to get my attention.

"Oh.." I said uncomfortably.

He eyed me. "Wassup Anthony." He said nodding his head.

"Wassup."

"Let me guess, is she bothering you?" He asked being a jerk.

"Nah, I came over to her actually.." he explained.

I began to feel uncomfortable between the both of them.

"Aww man, don't tell me you miss her, she mine now."

By the way Jordan was talking, he was taunting Anthony and I knew what it was gonna lead to.

Anthony chuckled.

"Ever been inside her?"

Him saying that made me slightly embarrassed and annoyed.

Don't forget that I was here before you." He said with confidence.

"But I'm here now, so you should go." Jordan replied.

"And if I don't?" Questioned Anthony.

"You don't wanna see that."

Anthony stood up. "See What?"

Jordan chuckled and licked his lips as he rubbed his chin hair and unexpectedly he threw a punch at Anthony's face. Being in-between the both of them, I hopped back a bleacher to avoid being in their fight.

The entire gym was focused on them and the coaches blew their whistles.

I couldn't believe that they were actually fighting over me.

Anthony whipped his head back quickly after being punched and hit Jordan back with both his fists. Jordan tackled Anthony and they both fell.

Everyone was recording and laughing at both of them.

Being on top of each other, they exchanged hits. Getting back on his feet, Anthony dragged Jordan down by the collar of his shirt and punched his face repeatedly. By the time his coaches came to take him off Jordan, blood covered Anthony's knuckles and blood poured out of Jordan's nose and lips.
