"Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself." -Coco ChanelTo tell the truth, I never really hated attracting attention. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. In fact I don't really mind if people gave me attention. It's the reason they give me attention that's what really matters to me.
In the past, wherever I went, people would look my way, because of my plus size. Today I realise, people are finally looking my way for a different reason— Bradley Walter is standing right outside my classroom and he's looking for 'Double-U Girl'. And that's none other than yours truly, right?
My mind goes blank.
"Me?" I slur, pointing at myself. Just to be sure, I don't get up from my seat yet.
Bradley laughs heartily as if I couldn't get any funnier. Am I really that entertaining? I'm starting to wonder why I keep making him laugh.
"Yes, you, Tia Summers," He drawls while smiling. I never knew my full name could sound this nice until I hear it. And the main point is, Bradley Walter actually knows my full name!
Spellbound, I waltz towards the prince of my dreams. Murmurs sound in the classroom, but they aren't important enough for me to bother.
School's just ended. Everyone's packed their bags and are ready to leave when they see the school's hottie waiting outside their classroom. Being typical gossipers, they decide to stay to witness a possible dramatic scene involving Bradley.
However, as usual, he seems as if he didn't care about people talking about the two of us. He looks all too familiar with this.
I'm totally not familiar with getting talked about, but Bradley's face distracts me from everything else. It's as if there were only the two of us in the hallway, and I was dancing towards my prince. He's about to hold my hand and take me away—
"Double U girl? You okay with it?"
I shake my head. Damn I need to stop fantasising. Bradley blinks, awaiting my reply.
"Uh. D-do you mind repeating everything you've said?" I smile apologetically.
He doesn't seem to mind. "Remember that day when you hung out with my clique and just left suddenly like that?"
I nod sheepishly.
"It's, technically speaking, not fair to me," Bradley smirks, making my stomach flip, "after all, a girl I invited to hang out with just vanished for no reason! That's a first."
I apologise half-heartedly. Although I feel guilty about it, I don't regret my choice. I did enjoy what came after, as a matter of truth.
"So as payback," he lowers his head so much that it causes his forehead to bump into mine lightly, his brown curls falling down, causing me to flinch slightly, "you'll need to tutor me for the upcoming Maths test."
"Sure—what?!" I gasp. Entirely captivated by his eyes, I didn't think before I agreed to his request. Within three seconds I realise what he's actually said.
Bradley brings his head backwards, nodding in satisfaction. "You've agreed to it."
"I didn't really—"
