Chapter Four

*Sope's Pov*

"You really forgive me?" I said and Michael nodded his head in reply.

"I want us to be friends. I figured fighting with you was just a waste of time" He said sincerely.

Maybe Michael is actually a good guy. Toby was with us and we were currently going to the dinning hall together
We got to our table and sat down in our usual places.

Everyone was glad we were okay, nobody talked about our argument again. Our food got served and we ate quietly when we were done, we started to discuss about different stuffs.

Henry and Stephanie were just staring at each other while Linda was whispering something in Phoebe ear but she was to distracted staring at Fred. Kelvin was winking his eyes at me but I just ignored him.

Since Michael was sitting in front of me, I smiled at me and he smiled back, then something unexpected happened, it happened so fast. Michael brought out something, I couldn't see it and he threw it at my head.

"Payback is a bitch!" He yelled and I cried in pain. Naomi held my hand in support

"She's bleeding", she said.

A teacher came and asked what happened, Michael told her he mistakenly hit my head and I didn't see anything to prevent trouble, everyone looked at me sympathetically and the pain got sharper.

"Take her to the sick bay", the teacher said

* Michael's Pov*

Since Sope joined our table, she has done nothing but embarrass me, I only tricked her to believing I forgave her already, I never forgive to easily. Agnes looked at me frowning her face.

"Why the hell did you do that!" She yelled.

"Leave me alone", I replied. Then I saw a girl approaching me, it was Sope's seat partner, she told me something that made me feel so guilty.

"Sope bought something for you to make you know she's truly sorry and yet you repaid her like this"

I watched as she left where I was and her words echoed in my ears. I brought out my comb and brushed my hair, I do that when I'm nervous. I looked at everyone and they weren't looking happy.

"I'm going to the sick bay", Agnes said and they all followed her, I was left alone on the table and I stood up to join them.

"Why are you a pain in the neck to Sope or don't tell me you like her and you're just doing that to get her attention ", Toby said and I started to laugh.

"She's not my type plus it's none of your business, I want to apologise to her", I replied .

We finally got there and Naomi was sitting beside her on the bed while she was lying on it.

*sope's Pov*

I opened my eyes and saw everyone in front of me including the irritating Michael, they all told me sorry and I thanked them. Why was Michael even here? I hate him so much. I have a plaster on my head thanks to him.

"You still look hot and beautiful with the plaster on your head, even more beautiful", Kelvin said and I smiled, typical Kelvin.

"Thank you"

"Can I talk to Sope alone? " I heard Michael's annoying voice. They were reluctant about it but I gave them a 'I'll be okay' look so they left.

"What do you want?" I asked squeezing my face and then I continued, "are you happy now? I look worse than you said I did before, I'm sure you're happy", I said almost in tears. I don't know what I did to deserve this. After a while he finally spoke.

"I'm sorry, it's all my fault"

"Obviously", I replied.

"Look, I'm going to stop this game, I want us to be friends", he said and I frowned at the absorb idea.

"So that you'll throw a table at my head next time huh? "I said sarcastically.

"I'm very sorry", he replied.

"Please just leave me alone"

"I told you I'm sorry", he half yelled.

"I can see that's a good way to apologise to someone", I rolled my eyes.

"Get out!" I yelled and my head pounced. "Ouch!" I yelled in pain, he came closer to me and held me.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine", I lied and then continued.

"Please just leave".

He opened the door but before he left he turned his head to me and said.

"I'm truly sorry" I saw the hint of hurt in his face, he looked so handsome that moment but I ignored him and he left.

The rest of the day was the same, I avoided many people, I didn't feel like talking to anyone so I left immediately.

I got home and saw many messages but I didn't reply them. When daddy saw my head, he became paranoid and asked for an explanation. I didn't want trouble because if I tell him the truth he might create a scene in school.

"I fell", I lied smoothly.

"How can you be so careless Sope? " He yelled and mum came into the living room.

"Don't shout at her", she said.

"Don't tell me how to treat my daughter ", he said to her and their argument started.

I became frustrated and went to my room. I changed to a crop top and sweat pants. I decided to walk around the estate to clear my head. I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't notice I hit someone.

The person was obviously stronger because I fell instead. I looked up to see the stranger and my eyes widened when I saw who it was.
