Chapter Nine

"Guys... I just made a new friend and she'll start sitting with us from today". Agnes said or should I say practically ordered.

"Her name's Temilade by the way". No one argued or objected, I mean she was the queen b. Temi just transferred to the school, considering the fact that the session is about to end, her parents must have lots of money and connections to have convinced the principal to accept her transfer. I've seen her for quite a number of time but I haven't spoken to her before.

I saw her approaching our table, everyone was staring including Toby, I got a little jealous and this kinda reminded me of the first time joining the table. She sat next to Stephanie and smiled suddenly.

"Hey", she said and we all replied.

"You're pretty", Kelvin said grinning at her, the play boy is at it again.

"Thanks", she said awkwardly and then attempted to take a bottle of water from the table, it mistakenly landed on Toby.

"I'm so sorry", she said shyly and I hated her tone.

"No problem", he replied smoothly.

"You're really nice and so handsome", she said. I knew something wasn't right with her, is she seriously flirting with him.

"Careful girl, Sope and Toby have a thing ", Michael said before I could say anything. Speaking of Michael he hasn't disturbed me for a while and to be honest I miss it.

"Oh sorry", she replied but I knew it was all fake. The bell rang and I quickly hurried to class but I didn't miss the wink Toby gave me.

*Unknown pov*

That Sope doesn't know what's coming her way. She managed to steal Toby from me. She ruined my chance! She better watches her back cos I can stab her anytime.

*Sope's pov*

"I saw Temi with you guys", Amina blurted out.

"Apparently she's now part of the group ", I replied and then continued.

"Can you believe she was flirting with Toby".

"She has no shame but honestly Sope I was routing for you and Michael", she said.

"Micheal is a jerk", I pouted.

"But when last did you have so much fun fighting with someone". I knew she was right but I was too scared to admit it .

"How are things with your guy", I changed the topic immediately.

"He's... I don't know, I think he's cheating", she said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes", she looked so sad. If only I had met him already .

"Amina if you had introduced me to him, I would have spoken to him".

"it's fine Sope, he wanted me to keep our relationship a secret, I don't know why", she said.

That sounded really fishy, what kind of guy would want to keep his relationship secret, before I could say anything she ran out of the class.

"I need to speak to him!" she yelled.

Love is so complicated, I starred into thine air since she there wasn't a teacher in class. Suddenly I felt a presence next to me which freaked me out.

"Michael please get out", I said.

"It's not Micheal", I heard Toby's voice.

"Sorry", I smiled and he punched me softly, I hit him back and the play fight started, I started giggling and everyone in the class were practically starring.

"You guys are so cute", I heard Temi's voice and my blood boiled.

"I don't like that girl ", I whispered to Toby.

"Are you jealous?" He asked and I started laughing.

"You wish", I said.

"Don't worry, I only have eyes for you", he said and I blushed instantly.

"Better", I said.

"We have to talk later", he said and I nodded, he pecked me on my head and I decided to go check up on Amina.

I got to the hallway and they were many people there, I was surprised though since break was over, I felt a very painful hit and the person was able to get away before I got a peek. Micheal came from no where and helped me up.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes", I replied.

"let's get back to class", he said.

"Thank you. If only you are always this nice", I said.

"I'm always nice", he smiled.

"Sure", I replied laughing.

We got to the class and when I got to my locker I found a note attached.

It's a pity the push was of no harm, watch your back or you won't be so lucky next time. Incase you're too dumb to figure it out, leave Toby alone!

My eyes widened in horror as I read the letter.
