Chapter Five

*Sope's Pov*

"Toby??" I said in surprise

"What are you doing here? " I asked still processing everything that happened.

"I live here", he said in a matter of fact and it all came back to me. I remember that time we were texting each other and he mentioned moving to a new place.

"Wow it's a small world indeed", I said and he laughed.

"Pardon me", he said stretching out his hand and I realized I was still on the floor, I blushed obviously embarrassed and I gladly took his hand.

"So, how is your head", he asked.

"It's okay"

"Michael is really complicated but deep down he's a good guy", he said.

"Good guy? "

"Yes, it's because his parents weren't also there for him that's why he turned out this way".

I was quiet for a while, no family is perfect, we all have our problems. I understand where Toby is coming from but what he did was unforgivable .

"You still look really pretty though", he brought me back to reality.

"Huh?"

"I said you still look very pretty", he said and I started blushing.

"Thanks", I replied then everywhere became quiet suddenly.

"So...where are you heading to alone"

"Just taking a walk", I said.

"You can come to my house if you don't mind", he said. I thought about it for a while and I finally agreed.

"Sure", I said and then continued. "How long have you guys been friends. You and the guys I mean? "

"Since pigs could fly"

"Are you trying to be funny", I said laughing.

"Not if you want me to", he replied.

" I'll fancy that but answer my question first", I said.

"We've been friends since kindergarten", he said and I opened my mouth in shock.

"Don't let a fly get into your pretty mouth", he said and I became so embarrassed,  I started to walk faster and he tried to keep up with my pace.

"I'm sorry, you beauty prevents me from thinking straight ", he said and I started blushing again, I felt like killing myself this time.

" Stop", I said laughing and then he stopped in front of a gorgeous house, it was really big. Of course everyone is rich at my school.

"Welcome to my abode", he said. The gateman opened the gate and let us in, I greeted him and suddenly I saw a little boy running to meet us, well Toby.

"He finally came back", the cute little boy said.

"Of course", he said and turned to my direction.

"This is my friend Sope", he said and I smiled at the little boy.

"Hey, what's your name?" I asked still smiling.

"George", he said and I felt like hugging him already, he was about the same age as my sister.

"You're a very cute boy", I said and he smiling.

"You're also cute", he said and I laughed.

"Can we go in now", Toby interrupted.

"Hellooo, we're bonding here", I said and he dragged me inside.

The house was too massive, I could get lost in the house, we finally got to the living room and I sat on the couch .

"Would you like anything?" He asked.

"I'm okay", I replied.

He didn't bother to insist and I was happy, we spent the whole time talking and we later decided to watch a movie. We laughed most of the time, it was really a fun experience with him. It was getting quite late and I decided to take my leave. George was already asleep so I whispered not to get him awake.

"I need to go now, thanks for today".

"So soon", he said sadly.

"soon? " I almost laughed.

"Should I walk you out", he volunteered.

"No, I'll be fine. You've done enough for me today", I said.

"Okay, bye".

Toby still walked me out to a certain point, there was good security in the estate so I wasn't so worried. I turned back and noticed he was still staring at me, my heart froze and I felt so overwhelmed.

I got home quietly and I was happy no one noticed I came late.

I sneaked into my room and jumped on my bed, I was too lazy to remove my clothes and before I could review everything that happened, I drifted to sleep with a big smile on my face.
